I really hope they improve this game play .The close control is a game breaker for me.I had carrick and Fletcher doing some crazy skills and turning like some football gods.

Gks have butter fingers and the end of game scripting is still very much evident.
Glad they got rid of the stumbling animation when someone challenges you and you can't move. AI is a ton better, and the atmosphere feels like older PES's (good thing).
The freekick system is just as easy for AI and human as last year
I'll probably wait to see what everyone thinks of the final game before I buy it. I've got enough games and other responsibilities without buying another mediocre 50 dollar game.

I'm not too impressed with the demo either. The player movements seem awkward and inorganic. Some of the animations still are no where near on par with fifa (e.g. goalkeepers, etc.) which affects the robotic feel of the players and smoothness of gameplay. Maybe its just me, but I also don't feel 360 degree dribbling. It seems like some degrees of freedom are cut out. The 360 degree passing is nice, but fifa's manual system provides the same thing. Most of my gripes I had with PES 11, too.
I really like the off-the-ball control on set pieces and the new A.I. They introduce new elements of strategy to the game.
I know a lot of people say the animations in fifa are superficial, but I really think they contribute to the realism and dynamism of gameplay. As usual, however, I will wait for both the final FIFA 12 and PES 12 demos to come out before making a final verdict.

Engineered for freedom my butt. The movement and passing is so fucking awkward it's unbelieveable. Almost like you got no control at all.

Are you all playing the PC version?
Because to be fair the PC version wasn't shown or playable at the games conventions (E3 and gamescom) only the console version was available to play/try. Nothing but positive news has come from the people that have played at the conventions or those lucky enough to have an early code.
I'm very skeptical about some of the shit coming out of peoples mouths here. It might just be preference and it does not tickle your fancy, or it might just be that you play more SHITFA than Pro Evo.
I'll wait till in the morning and download the demo for Xbox and find out for myself.

Yep the pc version the video i uploaded and i think Alola's was too.I've not played fifa properly all year round since 98.But be my guest bury your head in the sand ,you will get a shock when you finally play it.We have posted evidence to back up our claims ,if you choose to ignore that then fine.You will get a shock tomorrow when you finally get the demo.If anything i get called a pes fanboy on this forum most of the time.So don't come at me with fifa bs.The code is awfull end off story.
