After 8 yrs sticking with D-Pad to play PES series, I changed to joystick last year and now I cannot live without joystick :) However, I still use d-pad for settings, IMO, it's more accurate & even faster! So you could practice joystick now in order to get the whole benefit of the future...

I think most young talents have been set by Konami with relatively lower stats than real life (maybe that's their opinion!), like Fabregas, etc. However, looking at those young talents play in real life, I can say they deserve higher stats and more Special Abilities!

When your downloaded option file is full of slots for emblems, it's impossible to add more slots, you have to give up some of them, it's a dilemma here :(

Gouffran & Birsa are great SMF, after 2 seasons most of their skills are above 90! They are very fast and good at shooting. But they only appear after finishing 1st season as I remembered.

OMG I had never tried L2+D-pad Up before and just tried it 1 min ago, it's definitely the same as you said! Man this is really a BIG problem!

That's why I changed from normal through pass to air through pass, it's extremely accurate now in PES9! And yes the AI is always a big problem in PES.

Maybe there're too many players in the same position so he wouldn't come. I has this problem sometimes with MF&CF positions.

I do agree that's really hard signing players. I usually use the method: increase the yearly salary and decrease the period of contract (if the generated year is 4 or 5, down it to 2 or 3). My settings are just the same as you: Top player ML, Normal ML difficulty and Low transfer frequency...

It could be your graphics card mate, or you PC configuration. I usually got one crash like that after 2-3hrs playing. 10 minutes is not quite long, you could be better next play, maybe real - espanyol: 3-0 :D You should save your progress every match just in case.
