^Well, time will tell. I just hope that they will release a game that is good.
BTW, as for 360 dribbling movement. It would be highly useful in bal or BAP, but other than that, it isn't that as useful as a 360 passing and shooting would. But I really respect fifa for having a 360 dribbling system because they are trying to add these cool next gen features. However, I think that they'd better improve responsivness and make the controller work faster rather first.

Listen, like i always said, if konami show me a proper game, ill come on here and tell it like it is.

On 360 dribbling, the people who played it at e3 said it makes a difference, but we shall see.

Unless Konami get a new engine I dont see where all the innovations are coming from.

Ill tell you one other thing about fifa which we could be underestimating....

50 new movement cycles, I understand this as player movement animations, if so, thats alot, and fifa already had quite a few animations already.

Someone please explain to me why they have all these great ideas in secret, but they turn up to the biggest game convention on earth with a sliding tactics gage?

I mean if they do have these great ideas, then they are fucking stupid for not having a closed doors session with the aim of getting some feedback.

At best, they are still developing the game and dont have anything concrete to tell us right now, which also doesnt go with the 'this game has spent two years in the making with 200 people working on it'

I haven't read all of you guys posts in this - but from the last post from Tech-Skill - I might add that I pretty much agree with him.
I'm not taking anyones side and I'm not calling Konami off just yet because of a stupid teaser-trailer. But taking E3 into review comparing FIFA and PES - FIFA is deffenetly in the lead right now. I believe in some of the other threads in this forum, there are some pretty good articles about people having tried out FIFA10 thoroughly. (Sorry - haven't got an actual link here - maybe Tech-Skill can help me out here, since I believe he posted some???). FIFA (and I'm not pro-FIFA here - look at my profile on the right - I've been a member since 03, for a good reason), really seems to have been listening to the fans, and made huge adjustments to this years installment. People have at E3 tried a version of FIFA that is only 40% finished - and they have implemented 360 degree movement for crying out loud!!! The people who have tried it, are saying they can't wait for the final product, because it's just that awsome. EA has fine-tuned their mo-cap, they have been useing since their very first game, and Konami are just releasing their very first game with mo-cap?!?! Somehow I just can't seem to believe that Konami are going to as good a job as EA - but here's for hoping.
I do believe that this years PES is going to be good. It's going to be way better than PES09 - but anything's going to be better than that arcady sprint-fest. Sorry to say it - by for the first time EVER!!! I haven't bought a Pro Evolution game this year - and it "hurts"!
Konami doesn't come off good from this years E3. Maybe they just didn't think that their product was far enough ahead for an official test yet. That fine - I think. Maybe they'll knock our socks off at Leipzig (or whereever they usually have a huge conference?). But at this very moment FIFA looks like the champ to beat. They came into E3 without a single word out. And still they had a playable demo. PES came into E3 with all PR guns blazing and having hyped the entire community. What did they bring? A trailer that isn't up-to-date (read: no mo-cap) and not even a single word on their press conference??!?!? Not good enough Konami. As a veteran PES fan - I've experienced this one too often now - and it usually doesn't mean anything good - I'm sorry to say so!
But I still have my hopes high - and PES is still going to be the game I'll be looking out for first!

Well, both of you are right in different aspects i can say ( techskill and proevofan).

It is true that we can't expect the PES PR engine to churn out massively exciting details any time soon because E3 is over, we still don't know anything about the game.


BTW, one of you mentioned that we still don't know anything about the animations (forgot which one). By the look of the teaser, we see the same old shitty animations with Riera stopping his run while Messi is shooting. I played the game enough to recognize them for 2 second clips Hopefully the mo-cap will be applied to some players at least.

Proevofan, you are right about one thing though. There is nothing wrong with adding new leagues or teams or players. As long as that is NOT all they add. They can only be plusses to the game, albeit people are really craving new gameplay and less scripting.

Techskill, you are spot on about E3 being a stupid move for Konami. Yea, they can hold back their "secrets" but when it comes to the muthafaking E3, it's time to shoot the load in terms of publicity. EA did the best they could I felt by trying to incite feedback (with only 45% of the code finished). Konami totally brushed off PES fans. They could have spent at least one minute (ONE MEASLY MINUTE!) and it would have meant the world to everyone here at this board.
