Just counted seems like 100 teams approx?? Does the number sound right?.
100 x 3 = 300.

Does this mean we can import all as L kits?

Unlicensed teams:
- Premier League - 18
- Championship - 24
- La Liga - 19
- Serie A - 1
- PEU League (Bundesliga/Other European) - 20
- PLA League/Other America (Liga MX, MLS, etc.) - about 40?
- PAS League/Other Asia (J. League, Chinese Super League, etc) - 20

So, a total of 142 teams. 142*3 = 426 - this if you only count 1st, 2nd and GK kits. Don't forget about emblems, 3rd kits and competition logos... They also need space. It's not possible to import kits for every unlicensed team in game in L size.
But you can still import some of them in L size. Perhaps Premier League, La Liga, Serie A (Juve) and Bundesliga, for example.

National teams too. Does anyone see the difference between 2048 and 1024? I usually don't bother with 2048 at all. Instead, I upload kits for extra teams and have those teams always on the usb plugged in, so I can swap them in and out easily, without deleting stuff.

Oh yes I forgot about national teams, which are about 80 (?)

On PES 2018 I upload all my kits in small size, that leaves me enough room for 3rd kits and even stadium images. In menus you might notice some difference between 2048x and 1024x, but in the actual game that difference isn't noticeable in my opinion. But I guess that also depends on the TV you're playing, or even if you're on a PS4 pro, with 4k or something, perhaps it makes difference? I don't have the possibility to test it, I only have a PS4 slim so no 4k for me.

and the 317 number is real?
It has been like that for few years now. KONAMI put a memory space limit on EDIT file bin thus importing kits in 2048x2048 takes up a lot of memory space fast. Low resolution kits is the best way to go if you want almost everything in the game - comp logos, kits, stadium and manager pics. Possibly this year with 2 missing divisions (Serie B and La Liga 1/2/3) there is enough memory space to edit everything, but kits must be in 1024x1024.

i know, but my question was, if konami get memory space just for 317 large kits since from pes 2016?....not how mwemory space work
