2v2 online in pes 2012.

Hey there guys :)

Just got my coppy of pes 2012 today, feels good!
But one problem, my mate is over to play some pes, we want to try out the online mode, especially 2v2 just like in pro evo 11, however I cant seem to find it in 2012.

so is the 2v2 mode still available in 2012?

yeah you can....

look on back cover of box..


green=offline=players 1-4

orange=online

players 1-8= 4v4(1 person on console)

online coop(same console) 2-4 players

Thanks, ive noticed that yeah. But its not the same as in 2011 where you could add one more controler and then >> quickmatch 2v2 online,

Do you perhaps know how in 2012?

i cant find this either , i only play 2v2 ranked EVER ...... i havnt even kicked a ball yet in 2012 stil looking for 2v2 if theres ni 2v2 ranked you will see my pes on ebay for a fiver, konami are wack at menus

I tell you in gunna be real dissapointed if the xbox hasnt got it, and from what i hear the ps3 does and so does the pc, seriously man they need to add it to the xbox, that spoils the whole pes experience for me, 2 v 2 is what gave me fun last year. I was among the top 5 in 2vs2 rarely loosing and I have next to no fun 1v1 really, nothing beasts adding a guest and playing witht your mate next to you on a 2 v 2 shared ranked account.

I got up to 740 rating last year, I really hope they bring the 2v2, why the hell would they put it on the ps3 and pc but leave it off the xbox, thats insulting and its almost like ive wasted £40 if they dont add it in.

Totally agreed,

Makes me just mad if this all is true, Ive tried everything to add a guest and play 2v2. My best shot so far was inviting my second player in a xbox party, but to achieve that the player needs to have a xbox live gold account (extra money each month).

Anyways, what other options are there for the 2v2 loving xbox users? back to pes 2011 I guess, fifa still feels like shit to me so I wont be touching that.

I see the 2vs2 ranked match option when I go to the first option in the online menu which is Quick matches I think.

Also if you are in a friendly room you can go to Options and "add a user"

This is on PC btw.

Thanks for trying it out. However it doesnt show up on the xbox 360, seems to work on the ps3 too.

Real shame, hope they release some kind of patch to fix this, ill keep my fingers crossed!

theres 100% no 2v2 on xbox 360 its a sham really if id of known i woldnt have bought it full stop 1v1 is not for me i find it gamish 2v2 adds that bit more realism , im just hoping its a mistake and theres a patch to fix it ........ be my last pes if its final no 2v2.

konami really miff me off sometimes they addd great new stuff every year but they tinker with the stuff that workes well same every year , my son has 1v1 and i have watched some shocking goalkeeping yet again , same as every year and.

so come on konami get your fingers out and get this patched .

ps i seem to have a recolection of the same happening a few year ago it took a week or so and a patch then it was added ?

Your welcome. Sorry to hear you don't see the option. It just doesn't make sense to me. I mean xbox has that party mode but still:erm:

I just cant believe they would release it on the Pc Ps3 but not xbox, the xbox version is going to get owned in sales by fifa because of this. Im so annoyed, One of two things will happen now:

They have to make an official statement explaining why they excluded it on the xbox but not on the pc or ps3
Or Patch it and include it like on the other two consoles? -_- I really cant get my head around this.

Year on year there is some drama involving PES, The 2v2 mode online is the one I personally play most on Xbox and if this isn't rectified in a patch shortly this will be the last time buying PES for me. Feel totally ripped off, surely konami could've given the community a heads up about this before us spending our hard earned cash on a game that is buggy (sprint bug) and doesn't have a major online option available to xbox players, yet is working fine on PS3 and PC versions!! Epic fail once again konami, Disgusted!!
