Konami should do something about these ridiculus formations i.e. make it impossible for them to defend and make the midfield empty. A formation with 5 uptop is unrealistic and ruins the game. Its boring to play against, very predictable and every goal these bellends score is the same at the last.

I have played far to many people today who have Arshavin or Ronaldo and just run down the wing and do a low cross.

I generally do alright no matter what formation the opponent plays with.
But im seriously fucked off with the amount of goals i concede from Arshavin (the most over rated player in the game) and Ronaldo just running down the wing. i cant believe so many people can believe they are good at this game when they clearly only know one way to score.
There are thousands of people playing this one single way and i cannot understand how its enjoyable.

If you play this way please explain.

I play beautful football on this passing it around and picking out the perfect moment. occasionally, yeah i do score a low cross. but not every game as soooooooooo many idiots do.

and who would have ever known without Konami what a great defenseman C. Ronaldo is - he will run you down from midfield to wing in the time you take 5-6 paces, pickpocket you and turn around and run towards the goal with the ball.

To be honest, don't see this too often...only when someone really needs a goal. Best thing to do is to sit in midfield and pass between 2-3 players all game and give the other guy a big middle finger. Likely result is he will slide tackle the mother fucking shit out of you, injuring multiple players and maybe MAYBE getting one yellow card (and undoubtedly scoring a goal off the tackle...)

now that shit pisses me off...some of those jackoffs hack your players all game long (not even trying to get a foot on the actual ball) and they never get carded, let alone a red!

I haven't played PES online in a while, but the fact it seems people still play with 5 up front is disappointing to say the least. I remember even in the last 3-4 years online people have used this tactic, and simply played the ball out wide and used the cutback method. One of the reasons I actually stopped playing online - that and since PES6 the lag has became highly annoying.

Oh, and please don't use profanity in the thread titles as well. While we try and keep swearing to a minimum, it will of course leak into our actual posts from time to time, and that's okay really, but we don't allow it in thread titles. Just a little reminder for next time. Thanks.

Why care if someone is playing 5 upfront? Its not like its a good tactic anyway. There will be a lot of space behind that to take advantage of. But if you have problems with it just play 5 defenders or do the same?
