4* vs. 5* vs. 6*

What differences can I expect from 4-5-6? I'm playing 4 right now and I would like to play 6, but I don't want it to be like Nesta outrunning Henry like many other games are like when your on a high difficulty. If the computer improves, do my players improve as well? What do you guys recommend?

Nesta won't outrun henry in 6*.. but he'll be able to tackle from behind and get away with it!! :realmad:

There is slight differences I feel. Especially on 'Winning Eleven 8: LiveWare Edition', this new game is a bit harder which is great. But the only noticeable differences is that the keepers are still bollocks put they put in a little bit more effort. The CPU works the ball better, i.e. passing it about and using better play. The CPU also slide tackles more often, sometimes resulting in a terrible foul, but all the more makes for comedy. :D

I've noticed another thing, while playing on 6*, often the majority of decisions which are 50/50 go against you. Sometimes in the offsides as well.

Thats my theory anyway.

The AI is faster and much more direct on 6* than on 5* but that also means they lose the ball much more often. They are also much more attack minded which leaves their defense more vulnerable which makes counter attacking easier. I prefer 5* cuz they hold possession much better, make smarter passes, and they prefer to shoot from long distance rather than try to get in the box like on 6*
So I actually find 5 harder than 6 most of the time. Just try a few exhibition matches on each and see which setting you prefer.

Yes, Nesta will out run Henry. On 6* the CPU players do not relate to their stats. I had Hyypia out running Martisn (99 for speed) FFS.
