First off let me say that I am dissapointed with the 360 version. The editing and not being able to save replays has been well documented. If those things are that important to you then don't buy the game.
The presentation is poor on the whole and the game does feel like it has been rushed to meet the release date. I am not defending Konami in any way for their slackness in this matter.
However.....................................The gameplay is what counts and this 360 version is nigh on perfect. Ignore talk of slowdown and no ability to change players manually because it's bullshit. Ignore talk that the pad makes the game unplayable, it just takes a little bit of getting used to. Ignore talk that the graphics are shit, They are miles better than the ps2 version. The new animations make the game a joy to play and it feels more like real football than ever. The new skills and touches are fantastic and the computer controlled a.i. has had a major overhaul. I cannot stop playing the game and the feeling of accomplishment I get when scoring a goal is as great as ever. This is still good ol' pro evo and for me, that's the most important thing.
So, if you can't play the game without real names and other editing abilities get the game on ps2. To be honest if I had the choice between the two i'd do the same and I do feel gutted that i've had to pay more for a game lacking so many features. However if you have the 360 version don't worry too much, it's still a fucking awsome experience!

Waiting....
As long as the gameplay is excellent, I'm happy to get the game. However, I'm gutted that there's no kit editing or saving replays.

360 version

Loads of people seem to be slating the 360 version after only being out for a day. I don't care about the lack of editing features cus the gameplay has improved no end over PES5. The computer AI is 100% better than the crap in previous versions where you didn't concede against the computer even on six stars. The widescreen addition on the 360 has really opened up the pitch as well, so you can see a lot more of what's going on. The only problem I seem to have is getting a game on live which is really frustrating me at the minute as I've just coughed up another £40 to renew it.

I totally agree with the first post in this thread. Yes, the game seems to be rushed a little, with things like edit modes lacking and only 8 stadiums to play in, but damn the gameplay is good! I have been playing on professional, and the AI has been superb so far. Especially on defence the computer plays really really well, closing me down all the time, especially when you play against the good team. I have just played the Reebok cup as Argentina, where i had Poland in the first round, where i won 2-0, then in the next round i met my match playing against Holland. I lost the game deservingly 3-0. Holland played tactically so well, catching me again and again on the counter attack, just like they would in real life. Absolutely brilliant!

i understand from previous comments that there is no kit editing, but i am curious to know if there is player editing and is it as good as the ps2 version? (player editing is essential!!!!)
