Another release date change, groan!

Good news another change, after reading reports that the game had changed dates again I've found out its back to the original date of the 19th!

I just spoke to simplygames.com personally and they say it is indeed out this fri for sure and the dates on the website is gonna be changed today. Have also seen on other websites reports that some outlets already have the game in stock, GET IN!!!!

UPDATE
just phoned simplygames.com to double check and the lady on the phone said she'll go and check and phone me bnack. 30 seconds later I got a call and she said it has indeed changed again and is out this friday, they should be changing the date on the site asap. Havent got confirmation from gameplay.co.uk and game though, as their operators say they only know what the site gives em. Phone em yourself if your not convinced. :)

Ok I actually phoned the london konami head office, and the lovely lady on the phone said the official UK release date is still the 26th and was moved from the 19th because they had supply problems (getting enough games into the country etc etc), though she said it is possible that some outlets will be selling the game this friday, depending on whether they've received stock yet.

Now I'd think that the big guys would stick to the official release date as its kinda frowned upon breaking it, though no doubt there will be people willing to sell it if they have it in b4 the 26th. As to why simplygames.com have now told me twice that the release date is the 19th again, god only knows. Maybe they have recieved stock and will be selling from friday or are just plain stupid, who knows.

Anyways the good new is places will have the game in stock this week so no doubt there will be some sold. Id personally try argos myself as they dont seem too clued up. where I live if they have it in stock they will sell it to you, thus me getting halo2 days early

According to the hmv website, the game is being released on the 19th of November, or it might just be them for some reason.

By the way, this my first message. My favourite pes player is Shevchenko.

Do you know any stores in particular that will be selling the game on the 19th? GAME, Gamestation etc.??? Even Tesco, they do well???

Again id try argos, I've been trying to find out the catalogue code for it so I can reserve it, then go pick it up. Hopefully they wont realise that there is a scheduled release date, just like the did for halo 2. :) Though the argos peeps on the phone didnt have it on their computers yet so couldnt give me the item code, so Ill try again in a couple of days.

I also know a couple of guys who have preordered from ukgames.com cos their site also says the 19th, but again this might be their correct release date or not.

Right Im not going to look into this anymore as its kinda annoying me now, every ruddy dealer is giving me different info. After I phoned game they then say the 26th even though a couple of hours ago they say its the 19th. Such confusion caused by people not having upto date memos etc, Im just gonna wait till friday, if I can get hold of it ill let you know where.

simplygames phone help have just told me they had an update on the 12th that the game was to be brought forward to the 19th and that they are expecting stock tomorrow or thursday, to be shipped for this friday, arrrrggggghhhhhh!!

hahahaha.....listen mate, take a rest, have a bud or tea or whatever relaxes you and just....relax. This is one hell of a merry go round huh? but thanks for looking into this. I do hope its out this friday, but thing is now, i just dont know what to do, pre-order or wait for this friday and go buy it.

Ha, cheers mate. Have finally decided to ordered with simplygames, just hope their infos reliable. You know the icing on the cake would be me getting the game on friday then preceding to get hammered 5 nil by everyone I play, typical! Heres hoping the games out before christmas. Now wheres that stress ball?? :rolleyes:

hehe....yeah, well, I'm up for a game then if you want, I'm no super champ either, but I can hold my own. (well i say that now, but when i take it online, there will probably be so many out there who are capable of giving me a thrashing) but I do hope the pes lot are a little more fun the the Halo drones as I call them!! they are obsessive. Wont even chat whilst in game or atleat show some reaction, just head down, focused, hell bent on getting that vital kill, and heres me, walking around just hoping I can take atleat one person down!! hehe,

Its all good though.

mate thats exactly what I do too, ha! Oh and your on for a game, I need the practice since aint been playing pes4 much after just buying an xbox, have needed time to get used to the thing. Anyways will look forward to a game soon.:rolleyes:

Thanks for all your research work Javu! Great job! The whole thing is quite confusing though. All in all i think Konami have handled the whole situation very badly. Why don't they just post updates on their site?? The german site is the only one who has anything about the releasedate. In there it still says the 19th. I am starting to think that the Germans are the only ones getting it on the 19th, as i just read on a french site that the game has been pushed back to the 26th.

Personally i will check the shops here in Denmark on friday, but i have a feeling that they won't have it until the 26th...:(

I pre-ordered with simplygames.com when the date was the 19th, and then have seen it go up to the 26th. I received an newsletter email today that has a link for Xbox PES4, underneath sez released 19th November, but website still has 26th. I've got a feeling in me water that it'll be with us this fri. I'm not buying this UK delay in release date talk, so Hans and Pierre get their mitts on it before us? Logistics my arse. Maybe simplygames has received stock, and their willing to bestow it's wonder on us lucky simplygames customers. Best get them halftime oranges in early boys, they'll be a run on come friday.
