Any Tips on heading?

Hi guys,
So here's the problem, in BAL on pes2010 I was an alright header. I didn't score from every header but I say I made contact 90% of the time. Now, in BAL on pes2011 I find it quite difficult to head the ball, so much in fact that I find it easier and better to make contact with the ball by standing still. For example, if i was to run into the box from a corner and attempt to header the ball, I'd miss, and you'd think that it makes more sense to run at it to get a better connection and accuracy towards goal.
It's really frustrating and I'd appreciate it greatly if you guys have any tips as there isn't any Skill cards on heading. I'm also the default height for BAL, I can't remember the figure, sorry.

Its the angle you run at the ball depending on the arc of the ball.

I find it effective to run from a wide diagonal position, as the ball descends you're not getting "Under" the ball where you'll head it over.

Perhaps I've just gotten worse with heading, but thanks a lot. I'll try it out

No worries mate. Problem with heading is that a large slice is dependant on the timing of the jump - which is AI controlled.

What I do is caLL for the ball and run in forward towards the edge of the box because thats where the ball always seems to go ...

I think ive scored to headers one was a diving header and the other day was a running in to the box one it feels good to score headers becuase there quite rare i think unlike master league or normall game mode.

I'm in my first season and I've only scored goals with heads As I'm a CM I almost only score when I get to the crossings or on corners
