Anyone created a player for ML? - Arrows.

Has anyone else created a player and signed him in ML? I make me on every pro ev and sign me for ML, but on this one, I have been on a straight down arrow for the last 10 games in a row, he was on a red for his 1st game but had no stamina in his bar. My brother has had the same problem this year too. Has anyone else had this? Can I fix this?

Sorry to bump it but it would have dissapeared to the 4th page and beyond otherwise, and I need to know if this will always happen so as to not bother in the future.

Well he is either dead or maybe you made his stamina and regularity stats too low? (Maybe "regularity" is an inaccurate translation, I mean the stat followed by "bad foot skill/use")

Still, having no stamina in the first match sounds really weird. I never made a player from scratch so I don't know what's going on sorry :s . I always edit an existing player to create my alter-ego.

Form? I always make my form 8 (out of 8) because I hate my players being amazing one day and can't hit a barn door the next. I like consistancy - I don't care if it is "Unrealistic". And he has good stamina.

He only had no stamina for the 1st match, it's been full ever since. I think it may be because his wages and value are quite low, but he is good statisticly, at least I hope. I'm hoping his affection bar will start to fill up when I am the league champions and CL winners. My Brother is in his 2nd season though, and his created player is still on a down arrow, has an empty affection bar, and scout says "Seems to have a frosty relationship with his club".

I play my guy through his grey arrow, he still plays well, but I want to know if anyone else has the problem, has anyone had thier created player start filling his affection bar, and got off his down arrow?

Is this a glitch, or is it konami trying to get people to stop using created players?

Wow, I can't believe no-one else does this. Anyway, an update, my Brother finnished his 2nd season, his player put his talks on hold and eventually left. He opened talks with him as a free agent, and he said yes. So after giving him a huge wage hike to see if that was the problem, he played in his 1st match, was on a yellow top right arrow, and had half an affection bar. After the match, and at the next week screen, he had no affection, on a down arrow, and the scout report said "Seems to have a frosty relationship with the club".

Does anyone know why this is happening? Can someone who uses twitter (I don't, nor facebook) ask this Jon Murphy guy please? See if he can figure it out.

Hi, I have used a created player in ML. I created Marcus Alonso for Bolton (19yr old Spanish LB) since he wasn't in the game. He's on the purple arrows a lot of the time, but not to the same extent as you. I don't know if player rating makes any diff, but I created mine fairly, he's only rated about 67 overall.
What did you give him for his consistency attribute (one of the ones rated out of 8)?

Yeah, I made mine on 8. Yeah, I am probably guilty of making him too good, but it's not like he is too good for the club./ My brother won the league, cup, CL, and Super cup. He also unlocked the No 1 club trophy, so his guy is playing for the best team.

Here is something else though, he started a ml original's ML, but this time around he edited a fake team player from the pes league, and turned him into himself, bought him from the fake team and he seems to be normal so far - after 3 games, he still has half an affection bar, and scout report said "Nothing suggesting he is unhappy at the club".

So it looks like that might be a way around it - I don't know how hard it will be to sign them though, I will be starting my own Original ML soon so not too hard I hope.

I made myself and since the second game of the season I've been on down form.
I only gave myself about 5 form, but it's been over half a season of being on terrible form despite playing well when I've played.

This is one of the strangest things I've heard about!
I create players all the time and they seem to be absolutely fine. Maybe it's a glitch, maybe if you create players to be too good, they may not want to play? Offer him £250k per week and see if his form increases after that.

Which format do you play pes on?

When my brother resigned his, he wanted a salary of about 300K, he offered him a £3M contract, and 2nd game of the season, down arrow, no affection bar. He started a new one and edited a pes league teams player to be him, and signed him from that team, that seems to work so far.

We play on PS3 btw.

I can confirm this bug, and i have created a ticket for it.

Indeed the issue is that the "Affection Points" are not loaded correctly(from a saved ML) for created players (they are handled and updated fine while progressing in the ML tho).
Also it seems the program saves the Affection points correctly in the ML datafile but when loading that saved ML, the affection points for any "created" player are reset to 0.


The affection points range from 0 to 0x2710 (10000)..but you'll only see a progress bar in game.

Hopefully this bug will be resolved in the next patch.

I just signed 5 created players in my ML (using the option file by GTM) and they all have the purple down arrow every match, apart from the first game where they were ok.

The problem is since signing them other players in the squad seem to have poor form now.

i think i read on another forum that there is a bug to do with "player affection" for created players signed in ML, possibly even recognised by the jon murphy dude.

would certainly suggest that putting form on 8 is not a good idea though. it's like a humorous punishment for being greedy with the stats!

for my arsenal team i created JET and Sanchez Watt and a couple of other players using pes stats database. once i created them i went to "register" to put them in the default arsenal line up, then started the ML fresh from there. there is no problem with player affection now. my theory is that if i had not pre-registered them and had signed them from "created player" in ML then they would have form problems (purple arrow).

so it might not be what you want to hear, but that is the solution i came up with. make the player, register to your team, start new ML from scratch. you can always default the line up in edit mode once you've saved you ML if you need to.

I had the same problem, my guy was at 8 fitness but occured to have a down arrow all the time. I sold him to another club and bought him back in the next tranfer window, since than everything is normal.

I have the same problem but I'm wondering now, does this actually work? Is it best to buy the created players, then sell them and then sign them back to fix this arrows business?

I had it too. I created Lindegaard and it seems to happen.

HOWEVER.

If you create a lot of players and place them in teams already there will be no problem whatsoever.
It seems to be a problem if you create a player and you get them in on a free. Might be best to create all the players you want and add them to the fake teams or something like that.

I have loaned Lindegaard away for a season so i will update and let you all know if there is any difference.
