I want a good DM who can break up the play and is a good passer.

I am thinking of getting gattuso maybe or getting xabi alonso and playing him DM. Anyone know any really good DMs?

He can break up play with his high body balance. Hes quite fast and can strike the ball very powerfully if he ever has an opportunity for a shot on goal.

Cambiasso is good, can't shoot but i'm guessing you aren't expecting him to anyway. He can pass and ain't half bad at tackling.

I had Alonso and he was really good in the tackle and his passing/ shooting was immense. I had to sell him though as I had over spent and recieved a really good offer for him.

I also have Huddlestone, THFC, who is devolping fast and have just purchased Lucas Levia, LFC, who can play in a number of positions. Lucas's stamina is in the 90's which enables him to be up and down the pitch all game.

Drenthe from Real Madrid is the best find i have ever made.
Defensive midfield isnt one of his positions but i still play him there and he is unbelievable.When i signed him he was very young but he is now 32 and gave me ten incredible seasons.He can win headers and run forward at pace + he unleases seriously powerfull shots and i scored many a cracker with him.
trust me check him out!

Matuidi grows inredibly quickly. Has great balance and decent speed and playmaking, with a decent shot.
Marchisio can also be incredible in DMF.

Huddlestone, turns out to be one of the best DM on masterleague, you can buy him on teh cheap aswell. Very Strong, good tackler, an amazing passer, great at corners and has a very good shot!! I suggest you buy him!!

Lucas is great, Essien the best I guess...
I have Veloso playing as DM as well, also great.

I remember buying him during my ML and he did a pretty good job. He's the player from Sporting I think right ?

He isn't too expensive either so he's definetely worth a look, unless of course you're scouting for world class players.

Yea, he plays for Sporting.

He's handy, but i traded him for Lucas. There is no room for him in the squad now that i have the Brazilian, Marchisio and Moutinho.

I'll second Matuidi. And throw in Kruska and Wijnaldum. Kruska starts up as a complete midfielder yet grows to the 90-95 range in all stats. Wijnaldum needs a few seasons to get there as he is only 16 to start with but is definately worth the wait. You can tell by Kruska being my second choice!
