i just played it with careful scrutiny, my thoughts are graphically its a gre at improvement,

game-play it feels like I'm playing PES6 but i loved pes 6 so its a improvement from 2009 but its not made any advances gameplay wise since PES6 got released you can score the exact same way as pes 6 which just left me shaking my head in disappointment, if playing on line when its just 22 men and 2 players im struggling to see what differences if any it would be like online,

goal keepers to me made some unrealistic (yet funny) moves / dives

dribbling for me was no change the "360 degree dribbling" seemed elusive at best,

running/speed for me was too fast i ran many times unchallenged from my pen box on the wing str8 to their pen box still on the wing with unrealistic 5 opponents ball chasing (like you see in a school yard lol) then went towards goal up the byline and passed it to my waiting team mate and tapped it in like i did on PES6 but without the 5 men ball chasing,

graphics are obviously better but i did notice toress looking like he had skin cancer (dont know if he looks like that real life but he doesn't from the pics)

diving is pointless again, i really enjoyed diving when fifa 98 had it so when pes adopted it i thought it would be a funny attribute to master but its not its the total opposite its frustrating pointless and it had a 1/100 chance of working,

goal nets, it is just me but i cannot stand the nets! why the hell do they have to be like this, its not hard to get England League nets in the game ist not as if they are copyrighted lol

PENALTIES ive got to swear here but FOR FUCK SAKE what were they thinking!!! on on fifa2010 you can aim top mid bottom left, top mid bottom centre, top mid bottom right, with a chip, placed or power shot, thats 27 different kicks to chose from thats a 1 in 27 chances of saving, on PES2010 the camera angles are frustrating again you take the pen viewing it on the standard tele camera angle so directionally you can shoot/dive UP or shoot/dive DOWN thats only 50/50 chance of saving

others than that it does seem ok but unfortunately im not going to spend my money on PES this year because i will be very frustrated with these flaws, im going to cross to the dark side and get fifa 2010maybe ill buy pes when asda are selling it half price in a few months

these are only my views if they offend anyone i apologise, plse give me your thought on my views and the game itself

thanks )

I just don't think people are giving pes 2010 enough time, the keepers overall are rubbish, but saying that they have made some great saves. The response time is not great either, sort these two problems out and if the online is ok then it's going to be brilliant.

well i just played it and thought it was very good, despite the fact that most ppl on here have slated it so far.

The game has no spark. In a croweded market this winter there's no way this game will stand out on the basis people will be judging it on the demo.

Im gonna buy pes 6 on the 360 again. Its good online and the gameplay is just how i like it.

I have been thinking about picking up PES 06 again myself, I would rather play that rather than FIFA 10 or PES 10 judging by the demo.

I really hope the demo is from an earlier build of the game. The graphics looked great yes, but everything else felt sluggish, unresponsive along with average gameplay. I prefer PES 09 over the demo at least. I could never get back into F!FA with its horrid pace issues - its friggin bloody basketball on grass. The AI terrible - thats why I would always take a PES game, the pace is just right and offers a better camera angle.

The online is very smooth in pes 6 and nearly all the matches i play are won by 1 goal. Really good game.

What I loved about the PES 2010 demo is the graphics!!!!!!1 I thinks the graphics are really good in PES probably even better then fifa!!!!! but its going to be fifa 10 for me this year its just so much fun..... PES I didn't like the gameplay...PKS..... goal nets...crowd sounds!!! its annoying I still dont get the feeling that I scored...... BUt the graphics are nice!!!!!

^Go to the fifa thread.

I sort of agree. The response is making the game feel awkward at times.
But my main concern is that at times some AI defenders freeze for 1 sec and that causes the defence gap.
I hope it gets sorted out.

I would love for Konami to define 360degree dribbling coz this drab aint it. if you jog and dont hold sprint you can still only move in 8 directions. all they have done is added a few more directions when you run fast, which must be the smallest improvement ever.

As for Shauns comment. i am sure all the little bugs like this will be ironed out, i think developers release demos so early to see what existing bugs are present. they can find more with the general public playing than with a few play testers, especially those bugs that dont happen often.

But yeah i know what your talking about, Arbeloa got the ball passed back to him on the half way line and just didnt move, must have been about 5 seconds and then i dispossessed him, this is on Pro as well. They are still generally predictable as well, if you run to where you think they may play the ball you are often right, they dont change their mind when they see you closing down a potential recipient, thats the cause of so many cheap goals.

i wrote this poem about pes 2010

oh pes 2010
im glad your home again
to play you is such joy
more than a game for me a fully grown boy

when i wake up i think of your delight
playing at anfield road in the rain, at night
my girlfriend says im turning gay
because its with you i spend all day

sometimes i skip work to be with you
but realising the animations are poo
i even forget to have a bath
oh pes how you make me laugh

i hope you like my poem guys and lesbians xx

we have already been told that the pes2010 demo is an early build.
people i would advise you to try the "other" game, play for half an hour or so,then play pes2010 demo straight after, pes blows it away. it will be pes2010 for me as always!
