I can accept ronaldo or messi to ran past my whole team and score, but to watch arshavin run from his own half and past my whole team gets into the 6 yard box with ease and rolled the ball past my keeper I can never accept!!! I couldnt do anything about it or even touch him, its so rediculous!!

konami messed up on arshavin stats, maybe they shud downgrade him on the update

just played Arsenal in ML and noticed this, fair enough most of my team is either default or youth team as I started ML with one of the lowest teams in D2. But I had a hard time containing him, he's way too quick and skilful for my liking. Still got a hard earned draw though :D

arshavin is a quality player in RL,ok he might not be on a par with Messi,Ronny or Tevez but he aint far behind them

It is happening again
I don't think he's overrated at all. Walcott is. Lennon is. Ibrahimovic is.

I flagged this on another thread.

Arshavin has an 8 for form on PES2011 yet he had '4' for form on previous games, last season he wasn't pulling up any trees at Arsenal with his form so how did Konami arrive at 8 for form?

Ignore the fact he is quick with good dribbling, thats not in question, he shouldn't have high aggression or tenacity let alone 8 for form. With 4 for form it would certainly represent the inconsistent player he is.

He's the kind of player who if doesn't fancy playing against some teams or if he isn't 'up for it' he's practically anonymous.

There should be regular update of player stats as per their form, Arshavin should be first to be done.

EDIT: How many times did I write 'form'?!??! :D

or you could give him the stats you see fit (like last year's) and be done with it.
the option is available you know, so why make a big issue about it.
sorry but i don't get it.
personally i think he is a great player so deserves good stats.
Arsenal play better with him in the team so it should be reflected.
Lennon on the other hand to give an example can run and dribble but almost never gives a good pass or takes a good shot.

He's certainly a good player but a little inconsistent ... not the sort to relish a rough away day at Blackburn Rovers.

I think by form you mean condition. Funny thing is his condition was questionable when he entered the Prem league, but he actually showed over the course of last season that he definitely can be dominant and conditioning isn't a problem for him at all. In fact, he played so many games that first season up front as CF that it might be part of the reasoning.

Personally though, I think the "8" is to show that he is a player who plays out of his skin, sometimes. Is form/conditioning maybe something which comes into effect even more for big games? ...because he's definitely a big game player as well.

in the game, condition basically translates into form since it directly affects the arrows which directly affect the player's stats (in quite a significant way)

and with that being the case, arshavin definitely DOES NOT deserve the highest rating for this. he comes in and out and it depends on the day and the opposition and whether his mum gave him a kiss before bed the night before.

at arsenal, fabregas may deserve an 8 for condition, that's about it. maybe the pitch deserves an 8 too but not arshavin. that's like giving bentnerd a 90 rating for mentality

Most players playing master league online are simply giving the ball to arshavin and taking advantage of this and exploiting the mistake konami have made for giving arshavin such high stats

RONALDO and MESSI are top world class standard players

Arshavin is NOT!!!

walcott and lennon are speed players, but they are weak

arshavin has speed, body balance, both footed, form/condition, and on top of that he has speed merchant which i dont think he should have in his player index

Agree 100% that Arshavin is vastly overrated in game.

The 8 in Condition means he is constantly on a Red Form Arrow which is laughable if you see how often he doesn't bother to show up for Arsenal.
I don't think I could argue with most of his stats as I think they do a pretty good job of representing him.

However, the other huge problem with him is that the Speed Merchant card is really overpowered. It allows a player to maintain really tight control at top Dribble Speed and also allows repeated full speed turns. It is clear it was designed to emulate Messi's dribbling style and Arshavin should not have it. Somebody at Konami must really love Arshavin.:laugh:

Aye, condition. Condition covers his form from one match to the next and how fit he is and ask any Arsenal fan, he's not the kind of player to hang your hat on for game to game form. If anyone ever deserved an 8 for condition it was Pavel Nedved. Few players truly deserve 8 now as it really is the preserve for players good, bad or average who always put a shift in.

He´s a great player in real life but as the najority already said, no chance in hell he should have an 8 for form. More like a 4 or 5.

What really leaves me puzzled is how Arshavin can have form 8 whilst Messi has a 4 and Ronaldo a 5. Both of those were practically scoring every game they played last season but they don´t even get a 6? Seems like Konami were too scared in making them too good...
