Ive tried playin on amateur But i can't even get the ball or when i try to pass, it always get taken right back of me. Can anyone give me some tips for the best way to play on a higher difficulty.

To player at a higher difficulty you have to be able to react quicker, play quicker and vary your playing style so the AI finds it hard to predict what you'll do.

passing efficiency is key. You can't just through all your balls. Learn to slow down and maintain possession and the game will come to you.

Yeah, I agree with you guys. I sometimes find that passing around opens up opportunities that you would have never thought of. Even if it doesn't seem like such a great offensive pass, just go for it, try not to be predictable. And like Sminky Pinky said, vary the way you play, like if you usually just pass on the ground, try a long ball. By doing this, your game really flows and you'll have fun. Having fun means you'll get goals eventually, but you'll do it while making great plays, passes, crosses, whatever. That is the beauty of this sport.

Also, don't hold onto the R1 sprint button too much, thats a bad habit you can pick up when playing on lower levels.

Take your time on the ball. From what I've noticed online, too many people try to rush things forward, but if you pass it around a bit (simple passes), it will allow you to open up the opposition.

Aye, also make sure you are passing to someone is space who can drag players away. If you're going to pass to a forward ideally he needs a good body balance to hold the ball up. If not, play wide. Quick triangular passing opens up AI and human players everytime.

When you pass to a player pick out the next pass in your head before the ball reaches your player or which way you are going to move.

As people have said pass and move if you are passing around and your up front pass back to the defenders and try the other wing or something.

Me too have played since the first one I used to play on the beginner but now I play on the top level..well not at the minute I am on the one below still getting used to the play but every year I have drop level and work my way back to the top.

I always find that if you don't play the game too much also helps sit back and watch real football games and watch how they play the game and try and play it how like they do.

Try practice mode too...test your free kicks penalty's corners and your one on one finishes get the manual out have a look how to do lob passes etc.

Hope we have helped you mate.

Also look at what you can do defensively in the manual.
