Ask a PES 2011 owner some questions...

This may have already been asked, and I apologise if it has but...is there a Konami Cup on this edition? Or any such feature where you can make your own tournament. Missed it in the last installment.

Its the first PES im purchasing since the PS2 so excuse my knowledge.

So, on the few videos ive seen of the gameplay, its pretty noticeable the net patterns/colours change throughout ML depending on the team. I just wanted to know do this apply to every team, for example, Blackpool away would mean Orange patterned nets, or Ajax away in europe would have red and white nets.

And does this apply for Exhibition mode.

Is there an online tournament co-op style?
By that I mean: Are we able to play a full tournament online against the CPU teaming up two humans on the same team - co-op'ish like say Gears of War?

Can you "launch" players when you are for example midfielder and the forward is just standing there (thats silly). I want to hit L1 (like in fifa) so he runs away from me (he runs forward). Any equivalent possibilities?

I have a few questions if someone can answer.

1.
In ML, can you do player plus cash deals? That annoyed the life out of me when they took that off. I always used swaps to save money, sweeten deals, and to keep my squad down. (I know I may not get an answer for this right away)

2.
2 player free kicks. I loved them until 2009 and 10, but they were still usable. On the 2011 demo, I tried a few but by the time the ball gats to the 2nd player, the wall has closed him down to about 1 yard. Not exagerating either. If it is the same as the demo, there really is no point in it being there. - This can be easily tested, just do a 2 player game, give away a f.k with controller 2, then change the side select so that the other team is cpu controlled, then do the 2 player free kick (L1+R1 x2).

3.
In the Everton squad, are Jagielka, Coleman, Billyaletdinov and Rodwell good likenesses? They were appaling last time around. Is Gaye in the squad? And are people who aren't even fringe players still there like Petterlin?

Regarding the kit image slots people are asking about, I may have got my wires crossed, but I am sure I remember hearing there will be 600. Can't remember where I heard it though, so take it with a pinch of salt.

1. No, you can't. Only transfer and loans like last year.

2. Same thing as the demo. That is due to the animations when the player starts the run I think. Same goes for when you pick up a fast player and he like stutters for half a sec before doing the "explosion" to run off. That's the reason people are complaining they can't outrun even the shittiest defenders with Messi.

It was there last installment. Only found out very recently. You have to go on "Community" and you can create your custom tournaments there. Found it only on 11, went to check on PES10, it's been there all along.

I could barely ever get the AI to accept swap deals anyway tbh so it doesn't bother me. That said they should really overhaul the transfer system and have it somewhere between a mix of the old and new. Like for instance I hate how player value goes up automatically as their ratings rise. It should be mainly on performances rather than rating imo

Didn't play fixed yet but it'in there, so don't know about the AI goals.
