BAL Morale

I have concluded tonight that the morale system in BAL is complete tripe and is based upon someone in Asia throwing a dice and determining what my morale will be. I have signed for Man Utd and am playing well, scoring quite a lot of goals, but what I cannot understand is why I am constantly on blue and purple arrows. I scored twice whilst on a blue arrow in a cup game and the very next game I am on purple. I skip this game and find myself on blue, and get Man of the Match in the next game. The following game again I am on purple. I just do not understand what is happening!

i find this so annoying. i play CMF for Barcelona and when i skip matches because of the blue and purple arrows its like we always lose against teams we should be winning

I scored 5 away goals in the Champs League Semi-Final against Liverpool on an orange arrow. The very next game my morale is Blue. Grrrr

Had a similar scenario this weekend. Scored a hat-trick in the second leg of Champs semi for PSG against Betis. I was on green. Next game... down, fucking, purple. Go figure.

The annoyance is that PSG started me in the next game, I had only half stamina bar & on down purple i was buggered by half time!

As far as I know the arrows represent condition, not morale so I'll guess it has nothing to do with your performances, it's rather dependent on your "Condition" rating just over weaker leg accuracy and frequency. The lower you have, the more likely it is your form will go down. Btw. it changes twice each week, once when the week is starting (when it moves on the calendar) and for the second time before the match (Regulate condition in ML), that's why it can change by two degrees from a game to another. it's cr@p innit... i think i've cracked it though, it's all about % completion, so for example 80% pass and shot completion in the previous game = orange arrow for the next game... i don't know the exact percentages for each arrow, i haven't sat down with a calculator but i'm fairly certain that this is the determining factor...

Hmmm...going by what Meldeath says about the two changes, there is no way to alter that by loading and saving as no time passes between the changes. I like the percentages idea though...I must check my ratings from the Liverpool game where I scored 5 (I took a photo to display my might to the world) as I went down to crappy arrow after that.

infuriating isn't it... last night i bagged a hat-trick in a game where i was on a green arrow, the menu screen had the media saying "we talk to goodliff, the current teams leading goalscorer in the league" and low and behold next game, down purple morale... whats the point in scoring a hat-trick and getting some media interest only then to be put on a purple down??!!??!! it builds you up and then drops you on your arse when you get to the team sheet!!!!

It's not morale, it's condition! So it has nothing, or at most very little to do with your performances on the field. You can have low condition (only 4 ni BAL, AFAIR, but other on normal players) and even if you score 10 goals in a game you can still go down from green to purple, orange to blue or red to green IN A WEEK.

But the condition affects everything you do on the pitch...a blue arrow subtracts 10 from your attributes, or at least that's how it feels

BAL has alot of problems , its very poorly made , its KONAMI's first attempt at something like this , hopefully next year its completely changed.

Yeah, I've decided to quit BAL as I have achieved everything, all major trophies and awards and playing for Man United at the tender age of 24!
