ok here it is some people dont belive u can consistantly pupp a dive off well u can i have tried it and found i can win a free kick or a penalty its all about timing and common sense.
i read on the other diving post some people said that they felt it was just a waste of an attack i would have agreed before as i never got anything just a yellow card when i tried it but i tried different methods and found how it works.
first off i use ps3 so a dive is performed by pressing L1 + LR + R1
if u dive in the middle of no where u will be booked meaning if theres no player near u for 3 yards u will never win anything just a yellow card chance of u getting anything is so silm so dont try that.
if u try diving when running in the box with a player beside u u still wont get nothing so here is the best method to try this has been sucessfull for me .
get the ball with a fairly fast player run past a defender if u can then slow down a bit untill hes rite behind u he will now pull your shirt if u time it right when he is pulling your shirt u can go down and win a penalty or a free kick with pretty decent sucess sometimes u may get booked but its all about the right time in which u do it.
another thing u can try with this is keep holding r1 dont let go then press L1 AND L2 togther so its all in one movement it needs to be a split second action u need to be not taking time pressing buttons u need to get it excatly rite to win anything.
u can also hold in L1 AND L2 to dribble slow get ahead of a defender then press r1 at the right time
to win anything there needs to be contact from the defender theese methods work
if a defender puts in a tackle u can dive just like u can in real life u can choose to go down
i noticed someone said wouldnt it be good if u had the option of going down well u do just dive at the right time i will get it .
if the defender slide tackles u dive just as hes comming in again timing is everything
if they tackle u with a foot in to win the ball u can dive and make it look worse.
if u just dive in the middle of no where u will only dive one way forward and u wont get nothing but if u dive
with contact there is several ways u can go down making it look a lot worse always make sure there is contact then go down sliding tackle shirt pulling if u want to practise go to training and formation press start to change sides and select participation and put one or 2 defenders on vs your full team u can then get used to it and time it right
