Is anyone playing this game? I play online mostly. What's everyone favourite class when playing online? I like to play as Assault and Support.

I have only played multiplayer to be honest, I'm always support really. The M60, a med kit, that little mortar-strike box...oh yes.

Though I don't play a lot, in fact I don't play a lot of games these days.

I have played it and really like it but haven't played it online.

I thought the single player was quite shit because your mates doesn't help you out, unlike in COD4. I'm currently on the mission after the helicopter got shot down. On which console are you playing it?

Barry, is the M60 the one that has a scope? That's my favourite weapon. There's a map that I really like on Conquest mode, I think it's the only one that has helicopter. I would spend my time on the island, using the artillery.

That's End of The Line I think, I prefer Oasis and Ascension. Not sure if it has a scope that M60, but it's the more balanced of the lot. I'm shite with helicopters, in any game, always :D

I bought it two days ago, and my PS3 isn't connected to the Internet, but I find the single player great fun anyway - it's a great feeling when you've been playing games like CoD and Haze, and you are trying to get an enemy inside a house, and you just blow a hole in the side of the house to get him. Genius.

September 9th News Update
9/9/2008
We’d like to update everyone on what is happening with Bad Company and its continued future.

As you all know, we have announced a new map pack in the works based on votes from the community - golf carts anyone? The voting closed last Tuesday and work began immediately on the new map pack. See the results here: http://badcompany.ea.com/castyourvote/

The upcoming release isn’t the only thing happening on the Battlefield: Bad Company side of things here at DICE. We have been paying attention to the feedback on the forums, and are working on some fixes and additions to the game. These changes will happen at the same time the new maps are available.

Priority fixes
Server Lag –Our #1 priority. The game servers were upgraded last week to improve performance.
Dog Tag Lag – The next update will include a fix for this issue
PS3 VOiP – We are still looking into this issue. Sony’s 2.42 Update should have addressed the majority of issues. Please let us know if you are still experiencing muted sound.

Additions enhancing the game
PS3 Trophy support - Yes you read correctly, PS3 Trophy support will be coming to Bad Company

Game Tweaks –
Removed one hit kills for knife against Friendlies
Bullets and knives go through bushes
After sprinting, you will be able to fire your weapon quicker
Helicopter can take damage from multiple trees
Additional minor tweaks to improve gameplay

Unlocking 3 weapons for all
And last, but not least we are excited to share that very soon we will make the Pre-order weapon, Newsletter sign-up weapon and Demo weapon available to everyone playing Battlefield: Bad Company for free.

Trophies eh? I might be bothered to finish the single-player this time.

For the PS3, I do hope they allow us to change the controller settings. I prefer to press R2 to fire, instead of the unchangeable R1 at the moment.

I'm pleased that the knife damage will be reduced.

Whoa, big banner image there...I guess it's appropriate as we have big news for some people looking for Battlefield: Bad Company unlock codes. EA just released three weapon codes for unlocks from the Find all Five program for those who still haven't found them...

Recon Kit - QBU88 - your3mynextt4rget
Special Ops Kit - UZI - cov3r1ngthecorn3r
Support Kit - M60 - try4ndrunf0rcov3r

Now these are right from EA and DICE so there should be no problems. The one gun you still might have problems getting is the F2000. The only way to unlock this is to join the Battlefield Veterans Program. All you have to do is link one other Battlefield game to your EA account and you unlock it though so it's not impossible. This includes PC versions of BF1942, BF Vietnam, BF2, BF2142 and Battlefield: Heroes (the beta).

I bought it on day one of release, me and my flatmate were addicted to the demo for a good couple of weeks.

I've played it online the majority of the time. Mostly using Assault or Support aswell.
I prefer it to the likes of COD4, its a lot harder to see enemies at times, a lot more challenging to kill someone aswell. Plus having vehicles is always a good thing.
