No preference. Every release has helped me relieve (or get out) stress, which, besides being a fan of the sport, is why I play it.

I'm puzzled, however, why someone wouldn't be honest about whether or not they like/prefer a particular video game. It only seems like a weird way to pose a question about something that's as trivial as what adds up to a "gaming experience."

dont make me laugh!! So pes2012 is realistic:shocking: its the most unrealistic pes i have ever played. The pes seriewas never really realistic.
But pes 2012 is an insult to the pes series.

Pes2012 did what no other pes did before. Make it even no fun when you win. Komani wants to turn every match in to a big sensation. Every match is crazy no matter what team you play. You will win your matches but not with being pieped by the cpu first.

Its fun to have these matches now and then butthis is just to much.

They could have build from pes2011 it wasnt perfect but with one year developmant and tweeks its would be way better then what we have now. But konami just trow everything over board

If you are always winning, you definitely would find PES 2011 very easy. Trust me. For some reason, my matches always end in 0-0, 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-0. Also, the goal variation is better because in pes 2011, all you do is pass it to your cb, then press triangle until full bar, and it'll go past everyplayer. I always score from this way or a low cross from anywhere and if you call players running away from the ball everytime or the cpu always do thorugh ball after through ball. The intellectual AI make the game be more of a team game and players like robben can run faster than terry. PES 2011 was no where near perfect and it was way more frustrating - look what I wrote before-

'Scissor kicks outside the box? Through balls that never get intercepted? Go down the wing, tap cross 3 times and score? HORRIBLE?
This should never be how a footie game is played. Dunno why they released the crap game. Who ever heard of defenders running away from through balls? Every cross being overhit? Scuffing a shot over just because there is a player behind ya? Messi being caught up by Barry? Long balls that don't even work properly!
Scripting was so bad in that game, it makes PES 2012 look like a game awarded for fair-play. Outdated defence system with no stand tackles?'

If you look at this with PES 2012 cons, its no where near as frustrating. Anyway, in real life football can be frustrating, especially when man u lost to basel. In PES 2011, you think its less frustrating because any player can score long shots from the half-way line, no player individuality, offside trap so poorly implemented I dont even know why they put it there in the first place. Zonal marking doesn't exist as defenders are all numpties and don't even know what day it is. Players never blasting the ball when you tell them to because of the horrible scripts. I don't know if you've played PES 2011 long enough to realise how broken it is - you can even realise all of this in the first 10mins of a match. Also, to rub the salt in the wound, penalties were ridiculous and free kicks were so easy to score

Everything you say also apply's for pes2012 with a sucky passing and shooting system. And the super players are in pes2012. Only they are controlled by the cpu.

Everything I say applies for 2012?!?!?!?!? Lets break it up shall we

A) In PES 2012, whenever you are gonna hit a ball in mid-air outside the box, they hardly ever do kung-fu or scissior kicks so that defo isn't a problem anymore

B) Anyone thats played PES 2012 know through balls get intercepted more frequently than PES 2011. If you could tell, the ball doesn't travel half-way across the pitch anymore and now it gets intercepted which is why it is harder to do through balls. So that defo isn't a problem any more

C) As I mentioned in my last point, interceptions actually exist in PES 2012 unlike PES 2011 where there never was inteceptions. So when you deliver a low cross, it will most likely be intercepted so that defo isn't a problem anymore

D) Defenders don't run away from through balls and atlast switching cursor isn't a skill anymore. They don't run away from thorugh balls as I said in one of my previous point they actually stay in the right place to intercept it instead of running around like a monkey in PES 2011. The reason for this is because PES 2012 is more responsive and light and not rigid like PES 2012

E) Crosses are rarely overhit now so this is a defo improvement from PES 2011. Also those horrible crossing animations in PES 2011 have been replaced by better animations in PES 2012. Crosses are still very automatic and assisted but that is another topic so as long as crosses are overhit less, this has defo been an improvement from PES 2011

F) I've tried it on professional and top player that Messi doesn't get caught up by anyone that has under 82 top speed so catchup bug has gone

G) Not every player is offside in PES 2012 because like again, the resposiveness and AI make a player to know where he is and offsides are more realistic atlast. This is easily noticable when someone is playing a high line or offside trap so this defo is an improvement from PES 2011

H) There is no stumbling animation in PES 2012 - players only stumble if they are slow are getting caught up but they still carry on depending on their balance so this is a major improvement from PES 2011

I) There are less scuffed looped shots in 2012 and we all know that eventhough shooting in general needs tweaking

J)Long balls are easy to do and even you should know that so from my list, no existing problems remain

There are obviously way more problems in terms of gameplay in PES 2011 but I just gave the gamebreaking ones.

Also passing needs more improvement as it feels to autmatic which is why the power bar is hopeless and shooting needs a bit more sting to it and more accuracy when placing shots but overall, these aren't gamebreaking problems as they are alright and you can live with them but they need tweaking. In PES 2011 shooting was too bloody damn easy - I can shoot on target from the half-way line with Heskey! There was too much power in PES 2011 and too little power in this years but looking at your match results, you can live with it

If you loved PES 6, why on earth would you love PES 2011? PES 2011 was the complete opposite- it was rigid whilst PES 6 weren't. PES 6 was responsive so the problems in PES 2011 weren't in PES 6. Btw, you said all these problems aren't existent in PES 2012 and I replied they aren't. You didn't even reply to my post.

So are you basically saying when you watch a real football game, players run like monkeys without tiring, they are scared of the ball and run away from every thorugh pass, literally half the team is offside, side backs don't help up with the play, players shoot on target everytime from the half-way line, they do scissor kicks everytime there is a volley available. NO, this is a clear insult to every football fan and PES 2012 plays the most real with it's 1,000,000 times better AI.

PES 2011 is almost the opposite of PES 6 is almost every aspect, even dribbling and crossing.

You might think PES 2012 means so much to me, but I never knew how much game-breaking bugs meant to you

I never said 2011 was good i just said atleast it was fun to play. Instead of this scripted pes 2012 every team is a super team when they play against you. Players walking away from the ball. Passing going complely wrong shooting is poop.
And absolutly no freedom!! Basicly its just konami playimg the match form you. And now and then you can do something.

A standard attack from the cpu. You try to set up an attack and pass the ball to one of your players and in a sudden a full power bar isnt a hard pas anymore but a little tick cpu picks ups the ball and gives a trough bal wich is imposseble to defend cause your players just run away goal.

Goals dont feel like you score them yourself anymore. Just a gift from konami. Fun In making goals is gone. Fun in setting up an attack is gone cause you have zero control.

They always get intercepted because off the poor passing. I agree with Boca passing is crap but if the game is so scripted, how come you always win. Also I'm finding professional level quite satisfying in terms of freedom.
PES 2011 didn't alway offerend you more freedom - I feel more freedom in dribbling in PES 2012 and there is more freedom of AI if that counts. There isn't much freedom in passing and shooting but there still is user input.

Anyway you say PES 6 was one of the greatest PES, well I don't see much freedom either like there was no 360 dribbling and no power bar in passing but you yet see it as a different world from PES 2012?

I voted PES2012. Yes there are this and that wrong with it. But it's still better than all the others. PES2009 was very fun for me, but it feels too "stiff" now, same goes for PES5 and 6 as well.

PES2012 1.03 + Jenkey1002 = brilliant
