Beating my Inter mate

Can anyone suggest a formation that is effective against my mate that always plays as Inter?
I can beat the CPU when its Inter but my mate uses the wide players far more effectively and I just can't beat them. It's becoming embarrassing.

which players does he use?? helpful to tell us that cos might know those players disadvantages, for example recoba is weak and u can jus run near him and tackle him off the ball

The usual front 2 of Adriano and Martins are very annoying as he clips the ball over the top to them, but the main annoyance is Edgar Davids..he is everywhere.

He tweaks the default Inter slightly, but does not change any of the players roles, so they basically have the system.

i find that juventus are pretty good to play with against inter. break the attacks up using the cmf and dmf, i use appiah and emerson and allow nedved and del piero to attack. they are good at counter attacking and have a good formation.

I used to use arsenal (default formation) so Vieira could take care of Davids. Then chip the balls over the top for Henry to chase.. great system.

liverpool are the team that i use. always works with great pacey strikers.

If you want to beat Inter, I think they usually play with three defenders. If you play three forwards you should be able to get more chances up front. If you are not comfortbale with that you can try a 4-4-2 diamond with AC Milan because I usually alwats beat Inter with them.

The only way I can beat my mate when hes inter is with Nigeria, no bull, there by far the fastest team on the game, play 4-2-1-3, stright back 4 playing high up the field, 2 strong DM and playmaker infront of them, usally Jayjay, then 2 of the fastest on the wings, Yakubu and Martins with the best header in the middle, they cant handle it!

I just go "RUMBLE!" and kick Davids out of the game.
I found the main problem to be Recoba, he way to damn good.
So I kick him out as well. Which isnt too hard, he gets injured just by closing up to him.

I've been spreading my formation in almost every single tactical discussion thread in this forum. Heck, I might even be banned in the near future. Yet now you're asking where my formation is?

Yes Davids can be a real headache

Try playing with brazil and that should give your mate a taste of his own medicine.
