Found a new question and the answer to it.

Q.) How do I check my players development potential? The player info only shows current growth.

A.) In order to see how your player is expected to grow, go in to the transfers menu and search by group. Select the team you play for and scroll down to you. The growth chart should now show a red line of your expected development.

I still can't see the complete curve for my player's career. All I get is a blue line that indicates my current growth and when I compare my line with another player I get the red line of the complete growth of other players, but not my own. Can someone help with this?

Hello everyone. I started BAL first season, top player, AM, but In manchester city I usually play as CM. The first 5-6 games, My rate is 5.5! I don't believe how others gets 6.5 or 7 in such an early stage... I don't think that I will earn a first team potition, not even at the bench... What do you think?

P.S. Sorry for my english

Hi

I am new on this forum and i have a question about Become a Legend mode.

So far in my career i played for

1.Wba
2.NewCastle
3.Aston Villa
4.Everton 2 seasons
5.Manchester United

I am in United at the moment in my 1 st season for them,i am playing in the national squad and overall i am a good AMF.

But i was hoping for a Chelsea move cuz i want to play there until the end of my career.

I used United to promote myself.

Why doesn't the offer come and can i somehow indicate to Chelsea that i want to play there?

I am 22 years old in the game my 6 th season in the England League

;)[/QUOTE

By the look of things your doing quite well getting in to man utd. Like you I plated for many teams early on in my carrer, after playing countless through balls for players like hesky and jason roberts to only spoon miles over the bar, had me hurling scenes of abuse at the tv (lowest moment had to be getting to the fa cup final with west ham only to lose on pens to everton) in the end always forced me to keep changing clubs.

List of clubs I played for

1. Wigan 2. Blackburn 3. West ham 4. Totenham 5. Man utd

Now after after a season at totenham and 3 seasons at man utd and many seasons spent getting my stats up. I finally started having alot of success for club and national team winning 2 euros with england, champions league with man utd and many more league titles and fa cups + many pesonal accolades :).

Im about to start my 8th season now and im receiving offers from CHELSEA, arsenal, liverpool, real madrid, ac milan and couple other teams. So im guessing the more succes you have, the better clubs want you. As far as indacating what team you want to play for I dont think you can unlike what i seen on the ps2 version where you can choose what league you would prefer and wether you want to play for a big or small club. Which doesn't make much sense as you would think they would have this on 360 and ps3.

First thank you for you're major reply

I am doing well in United, and all the major clubs in England gave me offer except Chelsea,it's my bad charma i tell you :D.Tbh i never won anything with all of my clubs,i was close with Everton but we lost the D1 cup Final and i got on in the 80' couldn't do much really.I was top assister in that year in the Cup.Manchester United won the League the season before i came now they are 5h with zero chances of a back to back title.I am getting old almost 23  and i really want to spend as many seasons as its possible in Chelsea and to end my career with them.Don't really care about the silverware etc i just love my club.I am in my 6th season,so hopefully for 1-2 seasons Chelsea will come my way.Do you think i should stay with United cuz we have 10 more games to the end of the season,or should i change clubs again at the end of the season?

Cheers ;)

I've taken a break from the game, so I haven't played my BAL in quite a while. I'm tempted to give it another go, mind. I just need to get to grips with when to use R2 and when to use Square when we're not in possession, because since I joined Spurs their form has went out the window, going from a top 6 side, to a bottom half side, even though I've played really well.

If you have the latest patch it wont show.

New poster here. I'm a PES (ISS?!?!) freak, and have been playing since (and I still say this like the chap did on the menu screen) "International Superstar Soccer..... Deluxe!". It's still the greatest footie game ever, even if this version isn't as impressive as I wanted it to be (better than FIFA though!).

Started a Be A Legend about 3 weeks ago and have been searching online for tips and hints about how the strengthening things work, as well as getting stars. I'm pretty useful (and modest, obviously) at the game - used to hover around 750-850 ranking on 2008 (was called Jarvinho), so I'm doing ok on BAL... currently just at the start of my 3rd season, and only ever play on Top Player - I do confess to restarting the game from time to time though, just to keep in certain tournaments.

I got a club (Portsmouth) after my 1st training match (got an assist and won a penalty) with the made up sides. Started off with alright stats compared to most people I have seen, 80+ stamina and 76 speed, but a shocking shot and rubbish passing!
With the strengthening I have 6 blocks on Kicking Tech, and 5 on Dribbling tech and 1 on Power, and now I'm just hitting 75 on some really important stats - like Shot tech, SP acc and speed and LP acc and Technique, so I'm hoping for some stars soon - I have scoring which I think you get by scoring 5 games in a row.

I'm still at Portsmouth after 2 seasons and have plenty of goals (roughly 70 in total) and now start for England too - I won the world cup and got in team of the tournament.

Anyway, my question is: What's the online legends thing like? I've not given it a go yet as STEVE (my dude) is just no way near good enough yet!
Also, how long do they get better for? I read somewhere that your curve goes down from age 27... is that correct?

Well, Steve is flying now in his 3rd season! Have 29 goals in 30 games and average 7.24 for the club for this campaign. I'm also now the designated free kick taker which I am well chuffed with! Also ripping it up at international level too, where I'm now a starter up front for England alongside Rooney or Agbonlahor. TIP: change Englands formation in the edit screen if you play up front, as otherwise you'll be forced to play midfield. After you finish a season, they suddenly adopt what you change it to, so now I'm part of a 2 man front team - nice!

Steve's stats are really useful now, and he's not far off being a really good player to use. 80's+ in top speed, attack, sp acc, lp acc, shot acc, shot tech and stamina. 75's+ in body balance, acceleration, dribble speed, jump, technique.
I'm now trying to get his power up a bit, though it doesn't seem to matter too much to his shot as I get most of my goals from outside of the box. This will help with teamwork and balance though, I still find it frustrating my 205cm player gets knocked off the ball loads.

Couple of tips:
1) Use the dummy (square/circle + X) to get round a single defender. If timed right, and if you go in the correct direction, you should always be able to buy yourself a bit of time no matter where on the pitch you use it. I use the long pass dummy usually, just as then if you mess up he won't hoof it down the pitch aimlessly if you're in your own half.
2) Diagonal dribbling works like a beauty. If you're running at someone keep switching from NW to NE (for example) and back, and you should be able to encroach higher up the field pretty easily, even with a player with no pace. Then a well timed dummy should hopefully give you the space to get a shot off.
3) Be selfish. Your team mates may pass to you in good positions, they may decide not to. This seems to change from game to game depending on how they're playing, so instead of passing to Defoe (who I officially hate!) all the time, I generally try to get a shot off myself.
4) Time your runs in for corners, don't just stand there. If you can time it properly at the near post after running from the edge of the box, I reckon you can score like 1 in 3 corners, even with a rubbish player. Timing it seems to result in the player jumping much higher for the ball, and connecting most of the time.

Just a few things that have really served me well with a poor stats player to pass on. I hope they help!

I'm in my 3rd season in BAL now, started with bologna in serie A where hit 36 goals in 72 games and just got signed by roma. Having played through the reserve matches and made my way into the 1st team I have noticed that I am not actually getting any 'match experience' points. I have set my strengthen stats to 6 on kicking technique and dribble technique, last season I was getting about 12 stats per appearance but now only 9, and nothing at all on the other stats as no match experience points..... is anyone else experiencing this and know how to get round it? cheers

Well folks, ive come to tho simple conclusion that BAL mode is a con really. It seems that joining any team that is winning titles and scoring tons of goals doesnt matter, because as soon as you join them, they play like complete clowns, and basically struggle like any of your previous teams youve played for. Im now at Chelsea in my 6th season, who are rated no.1 in rankings, and did the treble last season, (when i was struggling with Totenham), and now past the halfway stage of season, are in 5th place, unable to score hardly, and out of both cups already. Strangely, just like Tottenham were last season when i was with them! Oh! and guess whos above me with twice as many goals and close to clinching the top of the table?, yup, suprise suprise, its Tottenham! The annoying thing is, im playing better than ever, but it makes no difference! Unless i create or score in games, then a draw is likely. I have to attack, defend, win possession, everything. But i cant do it for 90mins, cos its sub time at roughly 65 mins every game! Aaargh!

Yes, i started at Wigan, then West ham for 2 seasons, Man city, then to tottenham, and now at chelsea. Man united are after me now too. Havent been playing amazingly in my career really. Won nothing apart from 8 - 10 man of matches an maybe 6 M.i.p.s on average per season. Im an AMF and scored about 30 goals and 30 assists my whole career. Average rating is roughly 6.4 for my entire career. I would advise you stay in the english league and try win things there if you want to play for chelsea. Going off to Spain will get you more offers from there teams. All my offers are english mainly, due to staying there.

Same as mine..It is my third season and first 2 years, 6 block increased the related specification 12 but now it is 9..I changed kicking and power to acceleration and stamina to try, but it is still 9..I have 2 guess..First is age..Maybe it can be related with age..Age is 19 by the way and second guess is that, I was playing in udinese now i'm in lazio..Lazio was 5 th. last season and plays in qualification group for championship.. So they play more matches than udinese for udinese was 15.th in league in my second year..Due to more matches, maybe 12 turned to 9..I do not know it is just a guess..I also wonder the reason..Also i do not get experience match points..I rarely got really slightly in some specification when i played with 7 or above rating..But last year, i got after all matches i played in all specification..Anybody knows about that?

What difference does it make, if i am earning more wages at a certain club?

Can i spend them on anything? Doest it help me improve quicker?
