Hmm yes, I cannot disagree there. Gran Turismo 4 was just a mere clone of GT3,God of War is too easy. However, I do rate Ico among the best on the PS2.

hahah funny guy! san andreas isnt even as good as vice city! vice city has a great sense of nostalgia about it san andreas is too big too slow and gets boring. the best ps2 game ive played gotta be 1 of the pro evo's

PESInsight Legend
Dont know if they are the best but Ive played Pro Evo and Madden games more than any other by a long way.

I used to love TOCA on PS1 but it doesnt seem to have improved that much on PS2.

Game play = Pro evo 4
Graphics = Black
Lifespan = GTA san andreas even though i hate the game or Gran Turismo 4
Humour (ramdom) = Timesplitters 2
Party game = Mashed or singstar rocks (actually is quite good)

Overall= Has to be Pro Evo 4/5 hope 6 can continue this

Only played San Andreas on XBox, but I never got into it. Seemed too big and the whole story just didnt grab me. Also the graphics and gameplay are just a bit too mediocre so it brings the game down.
I did really like GTA3 and Vice City, so perhaps it just grew tired on me.

I was planning on giving it another try this vacation, but Ninja Gaiden and Splinter Cell 3, as well as ofcourse Pro Evo 5 and some other games, are still keeping me occupied.

Barryvs, GT4 is head and shoulders above GT3, and it isn't exactly a clone. But you'd obviously expect the game to be similar, considering it IS Gran Turismo. The gameplay mechanics have changed a lot, and the car handling and physics is far better. GT4 also features 700+ cars, where as GT3 only had 200 cars. GT4 is the defintely best driving game ever, and the graphics are even better than in GT3. Too bad the game can be real fucking hard.

Metal Gear Solid 3 is a brilliant game too and that is one of my favourites. God of War and The Godfather are also good games.

Sorry man but I thought it was upper crap. The only reason it sold any copies was becuase of the violence.

And I disagree with San Andreas. I didn't like that game at all. I'm going to have to base my decision around the game I played the most - PES5.

I expected it to be similar, but I did expect some more changes. The online-mode that was dropped last minute could have been a saviour(I believe they released some sort of expansion now though). I enjoyed GT4 a lot, but the feeling that this is basically a pimped-up version of GT3 kept clinging.

It's just that I expected more, although I know it's hard to really add something to the basic concept of driving a car on a circuit. GT4 can get difficult at times, that is very nice though, I like a bit of a challenge. The main reason why I didnt really like God of War, too damn easy in comparison with the legendary Ninja Gaiden.

I agree it starts abit boring but when you get into it its very good. It could do with a sequel to spice the slowness of the game up.

PES5, GTA:SA and Resi Evil 4 are my top three. I wouldn't want to choose between them. I would probably include MGS3 but I haven't played it yet. :(

I definitely wouldn't say Manhunt, it wasn't 'utter crap' compared to many many PS2 titles but it was a pretty engrossing game I thought.
