I do prefer older games ie WW2 or even before as opposed to modern and futuristic games - still cant decide

Well Battlefield is moder and near-future so maybe it isn't for you. If you want WW2 the Call of Duty you have is the best there is. Maybe Brothers in Arms as it adds a tactical element that COD does not have.

Ive had both Call of Duty games - I just wondered if there was a new one on the market at the moment.

There is Call of Duty 3 coming out for PS3 at the end of the year, so they may make a PS2 version as well.

Ive played Brothers in Arms, Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 on PS2 and i can recommend them all. If you prefer realism, tactics and 'take a couple of hits and you die' stuff go for Brothers in Arms. If you prefer your war games a bit more arcady, then go for COD.

Nice one James - I always thought Brothers in Arms was just a "worse" version of COD. Do you know if its any good online ?

Never played it online because, well, PS2 is a bit shit in that department. I might have a go, now you mention it. I actaully think Brothers in arms is better than COD, but thats because i prefer realism. Its great how you can order you squads around and make flank attacks and stuff. Its a rock-hard game though - i've still not got round to completing it.

Great looking game, too.

Yeh Battlefield is more into the future and the next one in the series (a good series) on the PC is coming out and it is set in the year 2142, CoD is a good game but it is easy to snipe with any gun from long distance and when online sometimes you cant hear grenades (or see) coming towards you and you die!
