Bit annoyed transfers arn't up to date...

There is simply no excuse whatsoever for Konami not to have the teams up to date. No VDV/Sandro/Gallas at Spurs annoyed me as they are my team, no Ramires at Chelsea etc. No excuse Konami. Apart from that enjoying the game so far.

Boo hoo. Complaining of rosters not being updated, is the equivalentof complaining that the kits are not all licensed.

The next update will have updated rosters next week. So just hold out until then

Sorry but i don't get how complaining about it is a bad thing? The reason Konami get away with rubbish like this is because of people like you who adopt the whole "It's not their fault" attitude.
They had plenty of time to get the rosters and kits into the game but they didn't. The fact they have to update that later is pretty bad. You might not think it matters but if you release an annual game you expect it to at least have the right kits and players at the right places. It isn't like they have a billion players to sort out is it.
Really slack on Konami's behalf in my opinion. If games like Fifa or whatever released a new game with out of date kits and players i am sure you would criticise it for sure.

There's an update very soon and if you're that bothered then do them yourself. It honestly doesn't take that long.

But i'd suggest just waiting for the update. Isn't that long of a wait at all.

Complaining about transfers when the game is this awesome isn't needed when there's an update in a few days.

Actually it's is a very valid point, regardless of there being DLC on the 12th why couldn't Konami have all the updated teams on release?

I don't care about the kits, they are superficial but to have Tottenham as a licensed team and not bothering to have an updated squad on release is just lazy.

Even though it's a valid point, when has Konami ever had updated squads for release though? Everyone should of expected it by now. Happened the same with Fifa this year too, I believe...granted, for a day, until the update was out, but they still weren't 100% updated for release day.

Why should we have to wait for an update? Considering there's been at least as long between the game going 'gold' and the transfer window closing, then it should have been an update ready for users on day one - last week's European launch - not having to play it for the first weekend with flawed squads. It's unacceptable, especially in a recession where people show loyalty in buying luxury items such as this.

It's not a valid point because its going to be sorted out in a couple of days ffs.

Is it that much of a problem that you have to have everything on release day? Or are you one of those little kids that need to be the first to have the game so you can show off?

Btw the kits and names of the teams are not superficial. I cant take the game seriously if it has fake names and outdated kits that look nothing like its real life counterpart.

However its a non issue considering there are patch makers who will release an option file to deal with the problem. I can't start master league until that is done. You don't see me creating pointless threads moaning on how I can't play with licenced kits and correct team names on release day.

There are far more bigger things konami could have added to make the game greater on this years release - rosters (which you can do yourself if your that bothered) is the least of any problems. And if you ever find yourself in the real world someday, you'll see there are even greater problems going on then team rosters not being updated on release day for a game.

Get a life son. You seriously can't hold out for the weekend for things to be sorted out? What about the kits and team names? They're flawed too and people like me have to wait until the patch makers relase an option file that's compatible with the new DLC so I can play master league

It's a yearly sports release with limited authenticity as it is. Getting the transfers sorted isn't much to ask. We have to edit so much with this series for things Konami have little control over, so they should at the very least be willing to update the rosters before release.

It's a bigger problem if you're not connected to Live or PSN, seeing as you'll have to update them all manually which can take an age, and is unnecessary when KONAMI have had such a long time to correct this.

It's not a huge deal if you are going to be downloading Option File's and of course it shall be patched in a few days anyway, but it looks shoddy and unprofessional to me.

I think its lazy as well but just imagine if there wasnt any patches and a chance to manually edit a hell of a lot of people wouldnt buy the game

I think people have every justification in being upset by this. Many people dont play online or have their console attached to the internet so any updates wont affect them.

I know people that buy games - nhl, madden and football games just so that the lineups are more upto date

How can you say that it isn't a valid point? Why should we always expect the community to sort this stuff out for us? Shouldn't Konami do it? We do pay them for it, after all.

Instead they rather spend the time that could be used for updating rosters on creating silly arcade stuff like the Nintendo stadium parts etc.

Of course everything should ready on release day. Otherwise, it's not a complete game.

Your arrogance is very impressive.

I actually think people have a right to be angry that the squads aren't up to date on release date.

Sole reason is because if they want to start Master League or Become A Legend, then the squads will always be out dated a bit. Even though the update will be out in a few days, it can't update your current ML or BAL saved data.

Kits and team names can't always be right due to the licence issue, but as this game is for the 2010-11 season and is released after the transfer deadline; transfers SHOULD be up to date.

he has every right to complain. Update or not it still messes certain people over. like those who dont have xbox live? Sure they can update the ones they know, chances are they miss some, start a ML and have to put up with then seeing one whose wrong every season. Not to mention they shouldnt have to be manually updating a game that has been released after a transfer window has shut and all deals have been done. should have spent less time perfecting barrel balls and pumpkin heads.
