ok guys i tried editing over the original file and putting it on the stick. For some reason though i can see the kit when i first copy it to the ps3. when i try to load in the shirt the old one remains, even if i choose a the new kit. should i be using the import option instead?

I took the png of liverpool homekit from the option file 1.0, loaded it in photoshop.
I dropped in the new strip front over the old one. I saved it as a png 24 with the same filename and replaced it. I then copied the whole kit folder onto my usb stick in ps3/savedata/
i copied it onto the ps3 and was prompted to replace which i did.
When i load the game up, the standard charted old shirt is still there. So i go to load image on the shirt bit, select it and load it. it loads but doesnt show, still shows the old shirt.
Is it cached do you think? I would have thought just editing the graphic would be enough? however in the kit folder, there is data.bin, a png and two other files. Do they do anything?

ant, make the png (thought you mite need to save if as a jpeg can not remember off hand) but save it in ps3/image, copy it to your ps3. in pes load the image from the hard drive when editing the kit, then save it.
from what your saying your just copying over a version used to see what it looks like not the actual file that is used.

If i copy over an existing image, it surely should replace that image???? Why does it retain the old image? And how do you remove the old image??

Just to check (as I haven't used this Option file before)
- I need to download 1.0 to 1.5, then make up one folder of files to transfer.
- I need to unlock physique 2 before installing
- I don't want to accidently unlock any classic players or teams - are there any left on the option file and if so which ones should I not unlock?
