Wow, I never knew they were two different things. What is the difference? No wonder even after I downloaded the DLC as well as the Physique 2 it still ask me to download something.
P.S Where do I get these patches and how do I get it onto the game? Thanks for your speedy replies. Your effort in creating option files is not going unnoticed.

To get the patches you get prompted when you start the game to download them, there have been 2 so far & the DLC is downloaded from the extra content, there has been one so far. On the PES screen that comes up after you load the game asking you to press ant button it should have v1.2 & Data Pack v1.00

Is that the DLC that is stored on the game it self? If so I allready downloaded it. Once downloaded, where is it stored on the ps3? The reason I am asking is I still got the message saying something like "unauthorised userdata.......different user, please download something....." This is really frustrating to say the least!!!!!

I have tried to install your option file v1.00, but got the message above last night. I copied every single file up to Edit data file.

P.S. I am 100% sure I downloaded and install the "physique 2 + Konami 1.02 + DLC(in extra content) What am I doing wrong? I HATE Konami for complicating this option file thing.

P.S. The PES updates I deleted v1.01 and then downloaded v1.02 Maybe this is the problem?

It is content that is on the game disk itself. In the main menu you go to extra content. You then select to download it. It is in the same menu as other pes shop items such as physique,balls,hair etc.

The thing with the software updates (patches) is to sign into the PSN before loading the game and then if you havent got the latest it will tell you to install it, this is the version you see on the press any button to start screen)

There was 1 data pack (DLC) when the game first came out (boots and stuff) in the xtra content section that needs to be dowloaded to and there is also
PES shop items that you can purchase with your GP points ( physique 2 for example)

sorry if Im already telling you what you know, just thought I would try and help


With regards to installing the option file, if you have done all your copying when you get to the edit file, delete the edit file on your PS3 then copy the edit file from your USB stick.

If you still get the msg that the data is not yours, delete the edit file from the USB, copy back the edit file from the PS3 to USB, delete the one on the PS3 and copy back from the USB

this worked for me on the UK version, I would assume that the file picks up a root signature or something.

Any chance you could PM me the changes you have made to Anderlecht as when I imported them I base copied the players to where I wanted them instead of the created players section & dont fancy doing it again if possible?

I am a newbie on these option files, I recently brought pes12 with the BLES 01407 game code. I really need your help here because I have no idea how to install your option file into my ps3. Can you please give me a quick step by step guide?

Also, I have downloaded both of your files v1.0 and v1.1, which one should I use?
