I did exactly as you said and it is still not working. I am
getting this annoying message "Unable to load because data is from a different version. Download new contents to update data"

R u sure u got the BLES01407 version? And another tip is after copying the edit data from usb to ps3. Than delete it on usb. Copy on ps3 to usb. Delete on ps3 and then copy it again from usb to ps3. Does this help?

Believe me I did check that even now. It's Bles 01407. I did all that deleting of Edit Data thing,it stiil gives that stupid message. Do you perhaps know where the data pack that comes with the game disk itself is stored once downloaded on the ps3?

That is located right at the top i think of the game section on your ps3. I don't know what its called excaclty cuz not near ps3 right now. In that folder u can find patches and updates of games and also installments of game (example 4 gig for a game to make the game run faster). Grtz

The way things stand now with my PES 2012 gaming time is that it is over. I am tired of playing Champions League,International Cup and all the other cups in the game. It is just not the same playing a Master League without an option file. I am so desperate that half decent option file would be perfect.

No its not there. The only two files you find there is the PES 2012 Online Ad Data and PES 2012 Konami downloaded content Version 1.02

I suspect my struggle has something to do with data pack that comes with the game.

I would delete all except your system data file. Boot the game up. Install patch, install dlc and then option file and it should be a go go.

That is the problem, I cant seem to find the data pack that comes on the game disk itself. It seems it is Not stored on the ps3 itself.

When you start the game & you get to the title screen where it says press any button does it say "data pack v1.00 version 1.2" ???

Havent tried yet, the thing is this whole excercise is so exhausting and it's not as if the inernet access is for free :) I'm still looking for the data pact that comes with the game disk. I am also trying to get as much pes points(by playing games) to unlock the other items that is grouped with "Physique 2" Maybe the problem is therin that these are not unlocked and purchased.

Does anybody know of an easy/quick way to accumulate PES points other than to play games?

P.S. I'll let you know whether I am successful with the file installation.

The only way to accumulate points is playing games 10 offline 50 online or if you have installed the mypes app in facebook you get 20 offline & 100 online.

You dont need "Physique 2" yet but will need it once I start doing the Africa NT kits.

Is your PS3 always connected to the internet?

No not always. I only connect it when I am home. Why?

Hi Paul, are we looking like Thursday/Friday for OF? No pressure - just keen as mustard for these Championship teams :)

Also I have created every single Championship stadium (in line with the teams you will release in your update) with unique adboards for each team. I've just exported them all and would like to make them available to coincide with your release of the Championship teams. I've never put anything up on the web for people to download - any recommendations for where I should place it?

I've also created every EPL stadium aswell (using the best of everything I could collect across a number of forums). Stadiums like Carrow Road etc have come up great! ;)
