i hope BM releases it tonight regardless, or we could end up waitin for an update that is weeks or more away, that may or may not have an effect...and from a purely selfish point of view, as i said, it wont affect me as i dont play online.

cool. hopefully it dont come cos i know it will mess the patch, it ruined the ps3 OF,

bad news guys, patch doesnt work with new update it over rides the param so all original kits are back in place, emblems the lot , i'm guessing its got an cv file aswell in the update with emblems etc in as they change to default ones, even overrides boot previews as theyve inserted new boots


gonna have a quick look n see if i can extract the update file and edit them(hoping they are the same file format)

cant do anythin with the update as it is in .file format same as demo's etc and not .img or .bin so wont load in ggs, now i'm just waiting for email from starvin for corrected bundesliga kit models so i can update param then gonna release hopefully tonight if not tomoz

also not been funny but i only have the patch because i made it, n believe me i aint played it yet either, only to test so yr no worse off than me really

I knew Konami was going to fuck everything up with this...well...damn them for trying to improve the game...this is why I didnt start work on my kits etc

The only thing I can recommend is that you all start an offline profile on your hdd and use the patched iso with that...use your original account for live with an unpatched game...

anyway, great work Bolloxmaster, thanks for efforts!

yeah dont download the update which in turn means patch cant be used online, but as blue said we could have 2 profiles

1 for offline(new profile) with patch not updated
1 for online(live account) where nothing is patched but updated

no need for unpatched disc tho as it creates a new param, but boots, balls etc will still work on line just not kits

bolloxmasta you are the man i thank god the update didnt affect this patch you have worked so hard on. have u recieved the email from starvin for corrected bundesliga kit models so that u can update param? how long will the upload process take? thanks man and again, U ARE A LEGEND!!!!

Im a bit confused as to whats occured regarding this konami patch:

1 what has it actually updated?
2 Will a new custom patch be made that will work online? or has this been completely ruled out by Konami's patch?
3 What will happen if I patch my copy (iv updated my xbox btw) will it not work?

1, 4 new licensed teams in la liga, 2 new pairs of boots, transfers, 12 new cl teams and kits

2, dont know yet lookin into tryin to open the update as it is a different file format(.file)

3, if u play a patched version with it updated no kits will show balls boots etc should be ok .

solution to this is to have 2 profiles 1st 1 yr live account which u update for online only and a 2nd profile which is not connected to live so u cant update and everythin will work fine for offline use ie master league etc just have to do transfers etc ourselves in Option file

Thanks mate that makes a lot more sense in my head now. I dont fancy the 2 profile thing but would be very interested to see if anyone works out a way to have it all done by working out what file format this new thing is. I would help if I could but no nothing about all this stuff just reap the benefits of your hard work.

the update, they added possebon for man utd but spelt it POSSEBOM, are Konami kidding??

also, i may be stupid but is what you are saying mean the oatch makers cannot patch the game and use it with the new update?

Unrelated issue just tried an exhibition match an from the team selection it gave me the option of used teams folder an in this was hull city any reason why. What is this used folder?
