was playing last night and the opposition fell in my penalty area only to receive a yellow card for his efforts. I looked in the manual and couldn't see anything on this. Is there a way to dive?

You have to be good at using it though, only dive when you see the opposing player pulling your shirt!! Else you'll just get booked for your troubles.

not sure you can dive on ps2. i wouldnt even dive when they are pulling your shirt, you never seem to get ought. best time is if you skip past them and dive as they stick a leg out. it works well with the dummy which is shoot and pass at the same time, they usually do some sort of challeneg and you just fall down

i posted a guide to diving a while back and i find it works very well i dont dive much myself only when im in the clear and they are pulling my shirt and about to stop me ul find that if theres minimal contact u can go down and win a free kick or penalty

Just get possession of the ball with Steven Gerrard, diving should then happen automatically. :D

I remember PES 2008 advertised a feature where you can pull shirts. I never ended up playing 2008, but how can we do this in 2009? I've never even seen the computer pull my shirt yet.

Thanks.

It's automatic. If you're playing the game on wide camera you'll not really see. You will notice that some players shirts become untucked through the game though.
