does anyone know if I can buy a copy from the usa and play it on my ps3 in the uk I'm annoyed the bloody yanks are getting it over 2 weeks earlier :angry:

but can anyone verify you can use a BLUS version and play online in the U.K. I have written on a few posts over the last week that I remembered a post somewhere on the site that said you cannot play online with a cross-ocean copy.

As for lag nope rarely got any. Keep in mind I live in NY your experience all the way in California may be different than mine. But I played people in Europe, Africa, Thailand, Hong Kong ie everywhere and it wasnt a problem. You even come across many players from the Americas as well. I basically buy the UK version for the broader selection in OF's and since I like Ligue 1 I usually play my matches in the French rooms.

Jeez Stringer, how the heck can you experience almost no lagging?

I've played people from all over the world, and it lags no matter what country the opponent is from..

As others said, PS3 is region free so any game will work on any PS3 regardless of origin. However, DLC and servers (in the case of PES) are restricted according to the region of the game. So bear in mind if you buy the Yank version, you will be playing with us NFL lovers.

Lag is dependent on several factors (latency, ping, etc..) so its all very relevant from person to person.

Now I have a question, for a bloody Yank such as myself who will be buying the US version this year, how busy are the servers?

For those of us bloody Yanks who bought the bloody Yank edition in the previous years, how is it online? Easy to find games? I always bought the the Bloody Fish and Chips edition in the past.

PS: No offense to any bloody Yank or Brit out here :p

I have never had trouble finding a match on US servers. Always someone on there and for a US player maybe better to play on US servers because the UK could be sleeping when you want to play. Most of my randomly assigned matches seem to be against players from south and central america rather than north america.

Lag changes for me - sometimes good, sometimes bad, but leaning a to a little dominance on the bad.

Since the servers on PES are P2P, lag will unfortunately vary from person to person.

But fingers crossed, the net coding might just improved! See you on the servers!
