How many of you guys have started Master League with the default players (Castollo, Ordaz, etc.) What difficulty do you play at when you start with this team?

I'm really having a hard time playing a regular difficulty!

Also any tips on which player I should buy? A cheap and good player will do.

I haven't start my ML because I'm addicted on BAL now.

ive always started my master league with the default players since PES3. This year though it is extremely tough espec on top player.

the defaults are technically nowhere near good enough against the COM defence. Its a great but frustrating challenge.

but if you do start with defaults i recommend Gutierrez up front and El Moubarki as a wing back, two of the best young players in the game. Also Jaric becomes somewhat of a freekick specialist.

i started with the default players, made my own team n had 1000 points to spend on some players so took pato. Have to say, they are better i feel in this years edition than in recent years, scored a few screamers and general placed shots with castolo and burchet.

best thing for me when pato is injured or tired, play 442, castolo and either burchet or moubarki up front. sounds weird, but el moubarki becomes very clinical after playing with him, and burchet is relatively fast, while castolo is castolo, can bend it into the top corner or out of the stadium. lol

oops forgot, try getting a few loan players in the first negotiation period, i got mark gonzalez, petrov from man city and agbonlahor, and i think another. they certainly help get u through to the end of the season, di michele from torino is quite a good buy imho.

yeah i play 4-3-3 with Gutierrez as the central man (hes great in the air), i switch between burchet and castolo on the right and i have jozy altidore on the left wing.


el moubarki is great as a wing back cause he bombs foward and gets in good crosses, but i should try him up front as test. I also bring libermann on occasionally and send him up for corners cause hes a huge man.

just a question, i cant seem to be able to choose the option to get players on loan? its frustrating as i cannot afford additions of high quality.

Haha.. I miss the Master League and also the option to create your own team.

i started wiv the default players on regular and yes im finding it hard to win as well.

I got larson straight away (cheapest good striker) and hes alright.

looks like im gona have to play in D2 for a while.
I swap between 4-3-3 and 4-4-1-1 dependin on the opponent.

Normally its just waiting for the transfer window to open and buying some cheap players for me!

I haven't started either Masters League or BAL mode yet though. I promised myself I'd win Champs Lg before starting either! I'm on my 5th attempt and I'm into semi's with Man U. Don't know why but I feel I have to win Champs Lg before I explore rest of the game!!??

I'm going to start a ML with PES United. I've never played with either PES UTD or WE, so this will be a first. This will only be my provisional team, then I'll start a proper ML with the default player (plus a couple of signings if that's still allowed). I'm planning to never play the game at any difficulty lower than Top Player.

well i started on regular and played very inconsistently, got promoted with a run of 3 wins in the last 3 games and finished second. so i moved it to top player and got relegated despite winning my last 5 by 1 point. i then finished second and got promoted again, just finished the next season in league 1 and got beat by man u in the cup final and finished 8th.

my signings were a fast winger and utility player called A. traore, hes young and now hes 22 and has pace/accel in the 90s. my other player was a keeper, shaaban coz the standard keeps are shite(as was shaaban) and my last was nakamura. i would suggest getting somebody with pace and somebody with a godd free kick, on many occasions nakamura got me 3 points with freekicks in my first difficult season. my mate says park ji sung is excellent to strat with, he is fast and has amazing stamina.

after your first season just go to groups and no belonging in the negotiations section, youd be surprised at some of the people who dont sign new contracts. build your team from there
