i remember back in pes 2008 and it was wicked in ml, i used to train free kicks for hours so they can get better.
Don't know why konami removed this feature and got it back in again

Wow. That was my favourite part ever when I first get a new pes game. I remember I used to spend hours at first until I nail the dribbling and attacking down.

too bad its probably independant of ML

I'm with you on this one.

I absolutely loved Challenge Mode, and I'm definitely over the moon that it's back, and I'll probably play it to death as well. It's just a little shame that it probably won't be included in the Master League and League Modes. Even if the challenge training in ML wasn't going to improve your player's stats, it'd still be nice just so you can get a feel of how your new player's handle for example while aiming to complete certain challenges.

Still though, awesome that Challenge Mode is back, about freakin' time too.

Hmm... maybe we actually have to do training in BAL mode... or Football Life or whatever it's called now...

That would actually be cool, although I fear it would get tiresome after the novelty effect has faded.

all this is crap. we dont need this shit or graphics or kits or stupid stuff. they should code the fucking gameplay from scratch and give a soccer simulation instead of a button packed speedy action monkeys rush game

^What's your problem? This year I am literally seeing a first time fan listening from Konami. They brought back CT, the proper shot feint, the proper resonse times and stuff from the old games. AND ACTUALLY made player switching possible and a new feature that will give us a different experience and open new ways to attack.

Now we have to wait and see these into the game to judge. My point was that that comment is abit harsh. This CT mode was groundbreaking for it's time and was removed for no reason and the fans wanted it back for many year and we will finally have it. It's good news.

Every little helps.

If you're that concerned please play PES5 and 6.

But having great gameplay - as well as the little things around it such as kits, leagues, challenge modes, stadium editors etc all help towards the overall product.

seems like konami is getting their confidence back and really seem to care about their pes game this time around, i don't see any reason to even touch fifa this year.

You know how I know you are new to PES?

This is excellent news. Was always fun if you had only like 20-30 minutes to play, you could just go to the training ground and screw around and work on your skills and accuracy (and it helped too).

i don't think that they should code the game from scratch but i agree that gameplay should be #1 focus, how would this addition make you still play the game if gameplay still sucks like in 2011?

I do see that Konami is really trying hard to win their fans back and so far i like the new PES features more than FIFA but honestly FIFA11 gameplay was way better than PES11.

Hopefully this will stop some moaning bitches whining about stuff that is already in the game and is meant to be worked out yourself.

I hope target practice is back, used to spend hours with beckham nailing it on a sixpence.
