I've been playing this gem of a game for the last couple of hours and I must say, it absolutely blows all the new shit out of the water. Also, I'm not doing that new database stuff, it's the database of 2000 with Razor Ruddock, Fan Zhiyi and the like. Good times.

Yes he is, and so are Dean Ashton and Andy Johnson. I might go for them, but I've loaned Kanoute from West Ham, he is brilliant. I've bought Super Johnny Eustace in midfield to form a bastardly gang with Jamie Pollock and Hayden Mullins. How awesome is this game?

I've got a strike force of Fred Kanoute, Clinton Morrison, Stephen Hunt, Julian Gray, Leon McKenzie and Steve Kabba. What a brilliant game this is. Everyone should be playing it right now.

Dudes that play this game: Tactics? Training? Any advice?

Formation ive been using ever since I started playing this game is a simple 4-3-1-2. Good if you have loads of attacking midfielders, sucks if you have wingers.

A tactic that I use on CM 01/02 which I believe I first used on 00/01 is a mental 4-3-3 formation. Your two full backs have arrows going one step beyond the three central midfielders in a straight line. The LCM has an arrow going one step diagonally to his right, so it ends up just ahead of the RCM and the RCM has an arrow going diagonally to the left so it's just ahead of the LCM, then the CM has an arrow going one step forward. Three strikers together up front, no arrows. Pressing yes and counter attack yes, tackling hard. You score a load of goals and sometimes concede quite a lot too. My Celtic team scored 130 goals in one season in the SPL with this tactic. Maloney, Hartson and Sutton were lethal.
