cheaters?

Is that not just lag? Where you are about to tackle a player, then suddenly they're 20 metres away? It is nothing to do with the individual player, its the servers. Flipping annoying mind. just bear in mind its probably the same for them!
i seen lag, i am talking about obvious cheating, its when they push ball into your goal from mid-field by jumping it 3 meters at a time, when you get close to their goal, they shake it down field few times, give it to Ronaldo, teleport him across the field in 1 sec and when he kicks the ball, jump ball 3 more meters into goal so that goalie just falls on his ass.
and this does not happen in the opposite direction =)))

Nope, that sounds like lag to me. There is nothing more annoying than getting into position to tackle someone and then find they're now on the other side of the goal. I once played a person who had the ball on the wing with no-one in the middle, next thing I knew they'd scored, with no reason at all! I have no idea how it went in! Its the reason I don't play online very often, that and everyone being Barcelona, Inter or United. If I actually paid for online play (I have a PS3 so don't) it'd infuriate me!

I just don't understand why people would ruin such an exciting game mode. I'm absolutely loving BAL, and after a disappointing second season, I'm relishing the realism of having to help my team step their game up. I really can't comprehend how people will enjoy ruining the development side of BAL, I mean, the stats probably account for 50% of the mode itself.

Wouldn't say it was a big cheat... I would say its more like a sad attempt at cheating... Even though he's player had 99 for mostly everything, he was a good team player... He didn't take on the whole team.
Maybe some people just want to play legends online and don't have the time to play singleplayer?
Well PC version I know for a fact, if you tab out of game and your on the Konami server, you will get disconnected. Either way though, they will sooner or later find a way past it. :fplm:

I've just had a match online where the guy was def cheating. When ever he had the ball the connection was fine but then why i got it off him my players couldn't kick the ball. They would just miss it and stand there then he would go and take it and the connection was perfect again. It was so annoying because when i go to clear it they miss it and it just rolls forward where he collects it, connection better again, and scores. 
This surely can't be lag.

Strange, usually when it lags, it's when you're defending as opposed to attacking.
I was playing my first (and only) online match on Friday, I pressed random and got a team like Sunderland, and he chose Liverpool. The lag was minimal, then once I went 1-0 up the lag became more severe and this is when players were jumping around 20 yards etc. Then suddenly the connection cut and the match was ended. I just assumed he quit and I'd be given the 3-0, so I went to the stats and it turns out I was somehow given the 3-0 loss. :realmad:
I'm so glad I gave up on online play after PES6, fuck my life. They got PES6 spot on, what the fuck is the problem ?
its not LAG, give me a f***** break.
Lag would happen both ways and not in most important situations and would not continuously give Ronaldo ball no matter where on the field he is.
its cheating and by the way cheating exists in almost every online game, just FYI, its nothing out-of-ordinary or unusual, i am just surprised to see it so much in this particular game, since there seems to be no direct advantage in doing so.

Sometimes, it just feels as though everything is workin against you. I once got a msg from a player losing, sayin "If you watch one more replay i,m quittin the match ok" I wasnt watchin any replays of my goals.
I,ve also had good games which i,ve won only to have msgs sayin how laggy the game was.
And vice versa i,ve had terrible games of "teleportin, fantom goals etc" where iv,e wondered whether the other player has had any problems at all.
How many of us have scored a goal, only for a corner to be given.
I might be a bit naive but i cant really see how people do, or would want to create connection probs or lag, When surely what we are ALL lookin for is a perfectly smooth realistic game.
