Cheat's fouling off the ball

I know there's a few topics on cheaters on here so sorry if this has already been covered but it's really winding me up.

It seems that if a opponent fouls your players that aren't on the ball the ref does nothing. In real football you'd be sent off for kicking players around the pitch but on this game you don't even seem to get a free kick.

This completely ruins my attacking moves because I end up with my players on the floor and taking too long to get back up to recieve a pass. Has anyone else had a issue with this?

I've given a few away (by accident) and had a few penalties given against me for fouls off the ball.

However fouls outside the penalty area do seem to be completely ignored and therefore are taken advantage of.

i know this is very annoying...i played with some people just run and wait to tackle whenever my players passed the ball away...it is very difficult to play in that condition because u will lose ur temper easily...the worst thing is more and more bastards want to play that cheat...the only thing u can do is watch ur players hunted down one by one every time u play 1-2 passes...at the end...u will see a last samurai...lol

I noticed this on Saturday, my mate is in D2 and was playing against a fellow Div2 player and the amount of off the ball fouls was eye opening. Not one foul awarded either. If you foul a player just after he passes you can cut him down with carte blanche. In fact I realised the chap was doing it to stop 1-2's up the pitch, its a frankly terrible bit of coding. I'm hopeful Konami have addressed this.

Good god that infuriates me like nothing else in this game. Especially when they do it to your GK. This must be fixed in 2012.

Its almost as if you're punished for holding L1 it seems to negate being fouled.

Its bizarre how a late challenge off the ball isn't a foul if that player just passed the ball.

I find that the players who do this arent even deterred when they get a red. Once had a guy go down to 7 men he just continued to tackle for every challenge. With the usual "no way" on every replay...

LOL it can get pathetic, thats why I use 1 2 3 pass or the third man 1 - 2 pass, whatever you want to call it,its the best way to counter this garbage. If you pass to a third player, your player has a chance to get up and get ball and if he is a very fast player it reduces the chance of offsides. Its a shame but I am seeing that you have to be very smart about how you play or else you will get screwed.
One thing I hate is when my gk just stands as my opponent moves to the side and taps into an empty net, after I bring him out to stop a through ball. I know there is a L2+ R2 or one other type of way to stop it but its too cumbersome and.. well its annoying

the most bullshit thing is i play with one player and all the time i am winner...but recently he began to play dirty tackles...my tactic is ruined...thats bullshit...all my players was taken down without any fouls...even my players just turn around and ended up on the ground...as a results i lost my mind and lose 2 in a row...but the most fucking bullshit is when i lead 2-0...the match canceled out...then we replay and he kept doing those bullshit tackles...i lost 1 more match...i wonder how a tackle can change the result of a match...i guarantee that my opponent have not beat me for a long time...he is always a looser...thats annoying...im trying figure out the way to fight against that cheater...

I disagree unlike Kung fu games or role playing games or some other work of fiction that are simply about winning, football has rules, circumventing the rules is cheating. There are no two ways about it. Its that simple

u r wrong...for example...u r passing 1-2 and ur opponent tackle ur player down...what happen in real life?...a red car for sure...but in this game...not even a foul...what do u call that? fairplay? and what if people keep using messi or ronaldo run down the wing and pass low cross?...and how about they try to use lob ball when the game start?...what do u call of them? use bugs of the games to score is all CHEAT.

I call that they they dont have a brain for play a game and make more than 2 type of things for score a goal.
Becoz we see in all the games in the real life that type of play....mmm wrong we dont see that. They play all games and run to a corner all the time? dont they get bored? or they dont know another thing?. I hope that they dont do that for win 10-0 against CPU.
