Alright,
here's a stupid question.

I was reading about Tom Finney and it was mentioned that at Preston he played "all five of the major offensive positions".

Now, I figure they meant CF, LWF, RWF and two others.
Did they mean LMF and RMF or CMF and OMF?

I'd like to add at this one of these positions to Finney but have no idea which ones they should be.

Finney played on the left wing most of the time for England. Sometimes he was switched to the right. He also played CF as well.
I think for Preston he had quite a free role, combining WF/CF/OMF.

I have him as WF*/CF/OMF. I think that covers it pretty well.

Yeh, Finney played Outside Left (Left wing) in his time... By "all five major offensive positions", I believe they mean Outside Left, Inside Left, Centre Forward, Inside Right and Outside Right... Basically that would make him WF*/CF
