Ok guys (and girls) Iv'e been thinking, bag-man and his thread has given us so much and as he's away for a little while why dont we at least try and keep it going?

The regulars over the past few weeks I can see are: wiganlatics, Timblez, ATH10, tingdaman and me. (Sorry if I missed anyone out) So why dont we keep this thread going?

I for one dont wanna see it get lost amongst the crap on the forum as It's a thread that actually has some good work in it.

Ideas People?

^Why don't we just chat about all the results and goings on in the

premiership(or any other league)to pass the time and pray for Bagz not to quit

on this thread. I think we've been doing that since his temperary departure.

Roll on stoppage time!

Hey guys, sorry if i havnt seemed very active in this thread for a couple of weeks.
I don't think this threads losing it, but possibly moving on to a different topic due to a lack of new stats. Lets hope bagrunnel is away temporarily. Still waiting on news of the option file.
A new idea to keep it up would be to talk about scores & performances, and possibly how teams/players have started the season.
My pick of the weekend's games is Arsenal - Sheffield Utd, to see how Arsenal have changed mentally after the win against Man. Utd. although not looking great; 0-0 at half-time. Champions League also on Tuesday, with Man. Utd, Celtic and Arsenal, and Chelsea and Liverpool playing in Europe on Wednesday.

i think that bagz will probably post soon maybe not some new stats but maybe just to update us on things remember when bagz got back from holiday he did a lot of stats for a couple of weeks and maybe its taking its toll anyway when i have watched motd i will post my thoughts on the performances of chelsea, man u, etc

Or maybe there was no option file at all...

Controversial.

Haha! are you saying that he didn't really make the option file, that he played us all along? I wouldn't be pleased if he did.

Arsenal 3-0 Sheffield Utd. Reading 1-1 Manchester Utd. Arsenal's win over Man. Utd has shown to give them a boost, and their first home victory this season. Manchester's loss lowered their morale, and has given Reading a morale boost. It was a great day for Arsenal fans! ...until we found out Chelsea were top of the table.

after watching motd my assessment of chelsea would be that they deserved to win played quite well but unfortunately for the rest of the prem not on all cylinders yet but still winning

Like Alan Shearer said "Chelsea did what they have become good at - getting the result they needed" The win and 2 goals from Lampard is the best thing possible.

With Ballack out for 2 more games and Terry out with a back injury the whole squad needs to be playing well, (even if out of position - Ferreria did good in CB) Lampard as the stand-in captain should be full of confidence.

My friend suggested that now Lampard has found his shooting boots - he should lend them to Shevchenko...

Yeah made me laugh. Then I thought ... maybe he should.

Sorry I forgot ya HTF!

Just had a thought ... Tommorow evenin (ITV 3, 7:30) Manchester united VS F.C Porto. Would be a good match for us to discuss and as its on terrestrial most of us can see it.

I'm sure he meant ITV1, Arsenal v Porto is the one i'm watching (ITV4). Looking good for Arsenal, 2-0 and 18 mins still left on the clock. Though i'm doing work at the same time which isn't much of a help. Anyway, its looking good at the Emirates, pretty sure they'll get the win and make it 4 wins in a row in all competitions.

Yup, my mistake!

Was thinking ITV and Chanel 3 at the same time.

Benfica 0 - Man United 1. Thought Benfica would have stolen this one and should have been up in the first half but squanderd lots of oppertunites.

Above average goal by Saha :) got them the win ... but maybe Heinze should have been sent off. Rooney isn't all that impressive this season and Scholes makes too many rash challenges. (So whats new?!)

Thought selling Van Nistelrooy would have put United up a certain creek without a paddle but they are doing ok.

About to watch ITV's overall highlights.

Your thoughts on tonights games?
