After sticking by PES14 with the lag and bugs learning how to play with them.

Let me just kick this off short 'n' sweet

Goodpoint: The new patch has made the gameplay AWESOME!

Bad points: I dont think they touched on the referees as much as they could have theyve definitely taken out the feeling of a paid ref but you still dont get enough clear cut fouls given to you.

Ive also heard / seen certain players faces have a new default face its a problem im sure they will sort out in my opinion im not too bothered since the overall gameplay has improved so much including the framerates and menu/formation lag which indicates the faces werent there only mission.

So in my opinion its an overall good improvement and i hope within the next month or 2 there is the final ironing out of waht theyve been tackling for us fans.

the faces dont bother me. i mean thats a small problem. everybody seems to be hang up on the faces. the gameplay is whats important. thats what they need to fix.

Played a couple of games and......
Keepers are still poor, save everything outside the box, can't save anything inside.
Shooting is still terrible
Passing at times is erratic.
Crosses still aren't great.

Personally I don't understand why they decided to change so much in the game.

Probably cause its 2014 and not 2006 anymore dude. pes13 feels like and advanced ps2 game.

Once again i can score frm outside the box i actually scored a 37yard half volley with fabregas 4days ago best goal ive ever scored and i also posted a spectacular knuckleshot from 26yards out with afellay i dont agree with what your saying its a great game but thats just my opnion againsts yours :) i think its worth a buy def.

So. A few questions.

1. Catch up bug is it still way too exaggerated?
2. PS3 slowdown in the boxes ?
3. Team menu curser still super slow?
4. Does the CPU still do super forward runs with the defenders on your tem?
5. Online. I play online a lot. Did they fix the lag? Is it now comparable to online for pes2013 which was very good and mostly lag free?

To be perfectly honest I couldn't care less if you don't agree with me as it's my opinion on the game.

The game changing some if its core buttons seems odd.
R1 lob for instance, now it's just like FIFA using L1 only.
Double tap R1 dash is a pain.
Controlling the keepers
All the FIFA style moves.

It doesn't feel like PES to me anymore.

Did you not read the bit where it just my opinion against yours?

Solution too your problem: Controller Config.

You say R1 to lob now its just like fifa only L1. So tell me whats the difference of it only being R1 then? just the fact its on the otherside? why would you have lob on the sprint button :S

ITs nothing like fifa.

Have you played the PES series before this year?

The game always had two different kinds of lob shots.

To me, my opinion it doesn't feel like PES anymore.

I'd like to see the AI be better at ball retention and less susceptible to chipped through balls (get team to defend slightly deeper, it is rare the teams get caught out with players running clear through unless they it is late on and they are pushing for a goal, usually when a goal behind), especially on the highest difficulty levels.

Not experienced any slow down yet and the game is definitely better. Had 10 online games today. A bit of connection lag in some games but enjoyable.

What i meant by who cares in that context was i dont let the low chip bother me when im doing what im doing in that video. if iwant todo a low chip i just put the smallest power to my L1 lob.

Its alot better isnt it the button input response is 10times better the players dont feel really slow to start sprinting no lag in the final third the refs are slightly better and the goalkeepers are abit better for 1on1s

overall its the improvement we was all looking for to make the game more of a playable experience in my opinion the fact that gameplay has improved and theyve put 1000 new players and 800+faces too means alot for me now that they have tackled alot of issues i think there primary focus will be making online a better experience so now they only have 1 thing to work on im sure soon online will be great :D
