In my Master League (I know this should really be in ML section) but was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to change a down arrow...

...as Gerrard on my ML has had a down arrow for 2 seasons, and not once has it changed, and it's not as if he isn't happy as he is!

Any advice!? Sell him perhaps lol

Get the athletic coach with level 5 for form is the first thing I would think do to. Have you rejected any offers for him? whenever you get an offer for a player you don't want to sell DO NOT reject the offer outright, renegotiate to a high price and the cpu will break the deal. Make sure your not playing him out of position, your players can be bitches about this. Other than that can't see why he would be down for two seasons.

Do you still play him when he has a downwards arrow? I've never had this problem. Usually, away games are much worse, in terms of player form.... but I'm guessing you don't have 38 away games a season do you?

That's good general advice, though whether it would help in this case, I don't know. I would say that make sure you do play him. Even though he is always on bad form, he is one of the top end players, so he won't like being dropped every other game!

Doesn't work :-( I had a player like this, played him every match for about 20 games, made him captain, even scored a goal with him, gave him set pieces, but it never changed :-/

Perhaps you could try selling him and them buying him back?
