has anyone noticed in ML thats there no Total top scorer and total assist leader and no best player ratings its something thats in like every other pes and now its gone unless someone else has seen it?

There are top scorers and assist tables for each league. Not an overall one if thats what you meant. The player rating have gone but tbh they were useless. I remember one season Silvestre was playing for man utd who were 11th in the league at the end of the season and had conceeded alot of goals and he was top of the defender chart even though i had 5-6 defenders that had amazing stats and iconceeded like 8-10 goals all season yet silvestre was top?

I'm happy for you that you find it so enjoyable, honestly. But can you say that you've not noticed defences backing off you? Bad AI from your own players? Computer not attacking as it should? I've not played against another human, which I would imagine improves my gripes. The problem is that I will generally play against the computer and these problems I've found stop it being enjoyable.

I've played ever PES since 1998 on PS1 and this version mainly lacks the computer AI, but also falls short with other things too, that evo games of the past have provided.

Defences backing off/attacking - I only ever get the defensive system with the small teams when they go 10 men behind the ball but i find its very realistic. Against Man Utd they were raping me badly and were all over me for large portions of the game so i dont personally think the defences back off too much.

Bad AI from my team - I would of agreed with you a few days ago but after using the assist setting my experiance shot up 30%. All attack and my players all charged up field making runs all over the show. Pressure and i had players chasing down the ball like their life depended on it (maschereano style). The assist settings combined with your tactics really smarten up the AI.

Mate, i know your not alone. I was going to sell the game 1 day after playing it and i couldnt get over how shit it was but after i stuck with it, played my ML i slowly grew in love with this game. Ive grown attached to my team, the league structure is great and online is fun too. Once you play 15+ hours and learn the gameplay inside out and get some ML experiance under your belt the game is heavily addictive.

Im the complete opposite. Just now i scored a winner and celebrated it more than Insua's goal last night night. Very engrossing. Lots of on the edge of your seat moments. Ronaldo just side footed the ball into the ground at the back post, open goal and it bounced over. The ML is a master class this year.

The defence thing has happened when the computer has lost the ball in the middle of the park and I have broken at pace. The defenders simply don't engage you at all, until jsut outside the box.

Can you explain a bit what you mean by the assist setting. I'm not sure where this, or what this does.

I really want the Evo to work, I can't explain how much.....

^^ The assist settings are when you press the trigger and A for example and you see at the bottom by the player names that the A button appears to say that tactic is now active. You can have up to 4 tactics active at 1 time. You can find assist settings under tactics. I would really recommonend trying them out. The counter attck 1 i find is the the best and if they are passing it about just flick on Pressure and your team will hound them off the ball. Instead of wating for things to happen they imfluence the game alot the second you put them on. First time ive ever used them and i wont be looking back!

yeah muzza thats what i ment but i can rember once u click on the player and it would say number of apperrences goals and assists lits like u could tell how well your players done.

and yeah i agree sometimes bout player rating like never your players wil make it and sometimes a player will be on it and retire and be reborn and make it back on the list, that was annoying
