its very sad that this mode gets more and more unimportant (thats a reason i played Fifa several times last year).

Can you please tell me which options i have in PES 2020 to play online with a friend on a single PS4?

You'd be better off asking on evoweb or reddit. Very few people here and probably nobody that plays online.

I might be wrong since I rarely play online, but I think there was an option to play online co-op? Like you and a friend on the same team playing against other people online? I think it was there in PES 2018, but not sure if it's still there since it's been a long time since I played online.
