Custom Chants now too quiet??

Hi lads, I am a big fan of getting all my chants in order for a extremely authentic Master League campaign - so after spending much time tinkering around adding to Chuckbases brilliant chants pack from PES11 I have discovered something a tad annoying...

Due to the enhanced generic audio by KONAMI all previously custom made chants are now too quiet?? The chants that used to ring out clearly during the games are now distant muffled audio??

Now I commend KONAMI for giving us better generic audio by why the fark didn't they pop in an extra slide in the sound settings for custom chants (ala FIFA).

Has anyone else come across this issue of past chants now being too quiet in PES12? :(

I still haven't added chants because I have been too afraid of having to switch OFs again but I hope all the ones from last year don't play too low.

yes you can amp the sound up with editing software but I did that so many times last year and added silence to create some gaps that I would hate to even mess with them again.

Ok after spending a bit more time lastnight testing audio levels it now looks like everything needs to be bumped up to 105db. I'll keep testing over the next couple of days and post my results - it may mean that eventually if you want your chants audible in PES12 you may need to use something like 'Mp3GAIN' to increase all custom chants before importing them to your PS3.

Maybe 105db is too high? just played a 15min match and by the end it felt a tad like audio over kill. I def believe KONAMI have put the general density of generic cheering at too much - there are no quiet moments now I find - the dynamic is just full on all the time and so it becomes all a big fuzzy mess. I'll keep testing...

cant the chants be amped up using some audio editing software etc

yes they can, try MP3gain works well and its simple. When I 1st installed them from a file thanks to IronCity :) They weren't loud enough, I used MP3gain and now they sound just fine!
