Hey guys, i'm new to pes as i decided to convert to pes2010 after realising how unrealistic fifa is. Anyways, i just wanna clarify some stuff about the option files. Am i able to transfer the option file to my unmodded xbox360 thru an xbox360 memory card? Or do i still need some 3rd party software? Many thanks guys. I'm gonna be getting pes in a few days time!

Actually, FIFA is the only realistic football game, PES is an arcade game, but thats a different argument for another time and place.
You can transfer them via a transfer cable and software for your pc, and you can get these on ebay, amazon, etc. U can find them on the codejunkies official website at: http://uk.codejunkies.com/Products/XB360-Transfer-Kit__EF000188.aspx

Oh, thanks for the replies but i'm specifically asking if i'm able to transfer the OF with a legit, microsoft-licensed xbox360 memory card. Like say i have a pre-loaded mem card with the OF, i just plug it in, copy over the contents of the memory card no? Thanks for the help guys.
@striker33, i personally feel fifa is grounded in realism, such as with their physical play engine. However, in terms of faithfully recreating the beautiful game, pes just understands football whilst fifa still lacks that 'magic' quality, especially in terms of the adrenaline when you score a goal.

To your question, yes you can use a microsoft mem card.
And thats your opinion, most people will agree that fifa is a more realistic approach to the game, but PES is a lot more enjoyable with friends etc.
The reason i sold fifa so fast this year was due to the bugs and online play being poor, so i came to PES so i could at least play with friends. I'm not sure what you mean by the adrenaline, in terms of crowd sounds etc, but PES is really poor in that department. Konami seems to think that every crowd sounds like spanish fans when they score a goal.
If anyone tried to take a drum into and english match, people would assume they were terrorists smuggling c4 into the stadium or something :w00t

HAHA the drums to the english match thing is hilarious, too bad i'm from singapore, only been to one live match mate. What team ya support?
And i still think pes is more varied, like in terms of build up and goals scored. For me, fifa often follows a certain pattern, pretty methodical. I will get that 45 degree angle sidefooted shot every single time. And fifa this year has great additions but they just didn't implement it well enough, it seems miscalculated like the OTT physical shoving, and players move like they've just inhaled a canister of helium.

NO the option file wont get you banned from Xbox live. It is merely a friend lending you his edit data that he has changed the kits on!
YES it will work on all xbox 360's.
YES it can be transfered by a Microsoft memory card.
NO you can't use USB sticks to transfer the file as the xbox doesn't support them.
YES this option file will come out eventually. BUT it takes time, i would like to see how quickly you would get it out? Daymos is doing an excellent job. It takes hours to do a couple of teams.
IF you haven't got some form of transfer kit for either your memory card or hard drive then you have 2 options. 1. Buy one. 2. Send Daymos your memory card (and a donation.)
The file will be uploaded to the front page of this thread when Daymos has finished it. Keep checking the thread and BE PATIENT!!!.... or go and buy a PS3!

do not buy the datel transfer kit - if you have vista or a 256 mb mem card - it wont work (very well)
your best best is to get the data migration kit - try ebay - thats where I got mine - for £6 inc p&p

Its only free if you buy a elite and call Microsoft and give the serial number for your new console and old console..
then they send you a cable..
I have one for its real purpose but i cant seem to get it to work for file transfers of this kind.. (i dont think i have the right drivers)
OF update.. its coming of fine guys.. please trust me when i say you wont be dissapointed.. The emblems are polished and so are the shirt logos and is looking very close to the PS3 OF's avaliable
I know your all asking for timescales but i will send you a pic update of the other teams tonight and hopefully to give a definate timescale later.
I have a few people on the pre made mem card pre order list and they will recieve a brand new mem card with the file on it..
all they have to do is copy the mem card contents onto their system.. take it back out and load the game.. WOW !! will be your next words.. lol
They can then share it with their friends or use the mem card for other games..
(also when the OF update is released slightly later with the empty slots filled you can send back to me and ill update you again as part of the original package)
I have a deal with my local shop to get new memory cards and dont realy make a profit. the main reason is to let people experience the joys of the full game in as many places as possible around the world.
as for ebay..

The pics on the Arsenal kit have nike socks and shorts which tells me its either a pic of a modded or pc version.. either way you have to be careful and make sure you get to see actual pics for each OF version individually..
I dont know whose OF they are ripping off but I will have some hidden things in the OF so i will know if its mine.. lol

I am going to buy a memory card this week...any particular one?. I been looking for an option file with Championship teams added so I can have the option of doing a Master League with Spurs in the Premiership without foreign teams getting promoted. Never know why they didnt give the option of doing a League campaign with transfers?....does anyone know of an option file that will have Championship teams?
Daymos as I have said before u r a true gentleman. I know that u r also doing to make ur own experience better but it also sounds as though u get a real kick out of making the whole experience better for everyone and I for one really appreciate ur efforts. I will definitely make a paypal donation to u when I receive it.
