k
having declared I'd successfully got the OF to work I have, on closer inspection, realised this is not the case. Possibly the weirdest one you may have encountered I'm guessing.
all the badges and names have went across absolutely fine and so have a lot of the kits. arsenal, villa, burnley, blackburn, chelsea, bolton and west ham all have the proper logo's and kit sponsors. however the rest have no shirt sponsers or manufacturer logos (nike ticks etc.) just the plain design of the shirt and the club badge. so everton doesnt say 'chang' on it but has the white v neck coming down that daymos/cowson put in.
as in my earlier post, im usin a 60gb hdd, data migration cable and used xplorer 360 copying all the files straight into partition 3 as, for some reason, xplorer wouldnt allow me to view that partitions sub-folders. I'd previously tried using xport but, as with many other people, it kept crashing after around 60 files had been transferred.
if anyone has any suggestions I'd be really grateful for your advice!
Had exactly the same problem. Here's how its fixed...
You have probably, if you made the same mistake as me, have not transfered all the files across. If you extracted the files from power archiver or some similar unzip programe.
If you hi-lighted numerous files in your power archiver unzip programme and extrated them into a new separate folder, it probably stopped after say 60 or 70 files. Go back to your unzip programme and copy the missing files into the said new folder, then transfer them into the PES2010 folder within your xport/xplorer as you did before.
This should fix it.
Hi Daymos and Cowson - Donation made.
*******A QUICK GUIDE FOR THOSE USING XSATA DATA TRANSFER KIT *********
(Some of this may help those using another method)
Posting this cos i think that there are still a few people not able to do their thing with the great piece of work that Daymos and Cowson have done. After a fair bit of struggle i have managed it and wanna share the success!
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SAVED A REPLAY OR SOME GAME SAVE BEFORE YOU BEGIN THIS. IT WILL MAKE IT EASY TO IDENTIFY THE FOLDER YOU REQUIRE.
1) Obviously download the file, and open in Power Archiver (or similar unzip program)
2) Create a new folder on your desk top called PES2010
3) Download the XPLORER software. If you have the XSATA DATA TRANSFER KIT, you should have this program on disk.
4) Open your downloaded option file in your Power Archiver Software. I think it's quite obvious to do this, should be in open or something like that!
5) Hi-light the files in Power Archiver and extract them to the new folder you created at step (2)
6) Connect your Xsata cable to the back of your XBOX and the other end into your PC/Laptop.
7) Open the XPLORER software
8) Go to DRIVE - go to Harddrive
9) You should see Partition 3 - Double click on it
10) Go to your gamer profile. This usually begins with an 'E' then various numbers and letters. If you have numerous profiles it may take a while to find the one you want, if not it should be easy to locate.
11) Locate the PES2010 folder within your profile. It is file number 4B4E0801
12) You should see any game save or replays in here called PES2010 REPLAY etc. This lets you know you're in the right place.
13) Copy the files across from your created folder at stage 2/5 (PES2010)
14) IF YOU CAN'T DRAG AND DROP, OR COPY AND PASTE TRY THIS...
15) Right click within the XPLORER software, and click on insert/inject file. Do them one by one. Probably takes about 25mins, but it's well worth it!
Hope this helps
