Another bit of info.

I contacted konami months ago to tell them what myself and Cowson have been doing for the community

I wanted to know their views on what we do.

I gave them a summary of the 100's of emails received each week quoting msgs like. If it weren’t for your option file I would buy fifa etc

Constructively we offered to help in the next instalment even if it’s to give feedback on how this edit mode can be improved as we know it inside and out.


They replied this week and will get back to me shortly.

Now they make tell me that what were doing is illegal or something silly like that or they may actually give praise for what we do and utilise the skills we have.


Or they could be stubborn and tell me that my contribution does not actually make a difference to their sales. Etc.


All is positive at the moment and ill let you know what they say.

I hope they don’t insult me and take the Pi$$ because I don’t really want to play fifa next year (even though it has its merits)

I installed Jon's option file earlier tonight and when i start a master league with a premiership team, when the time comes for a F.A Cup match there are loads of foriegn - russian, czech and the the two german teams (Bayen & Stuttgart) competing in the competition aswell!!?? if i install your Full english OF will these teams be replaced by the Championship teams or will i still have to play the likes of Bayern Munich in the semi final of the cup for instance? How do the Championship teams effect the Champions League when that time of the season comes around in master league aswell?

Dude you will have to ask Jon.

But judging from the issue your having with the german teams it looks like you have done too many konami updates.

Its explained all over this forum and the 1st page touches on it too.

Now if you succesfully install v2 with the championship teams then you have to start a new master league so you can manually put them all in the league b slot.

Can someone please tell me what I have done wrong. I downloaded the Konami updates (November & December). I then downloaded the Full English Option File. Extracted all files (1 PES2010_EDIT file and 200 PES2010_UNIFORM files) to my laptop. I then open xport 360 and navigate to: partition 3, content, E00019F5AB59EEF, 4B4E0801 (PES 2010), 00000001. When I click on 00000001 I see the file PES2010_EDIT.bin. I then drop and drag all the files from the D&C OF into said partition. When I load up PES I get a red exclamation mark with the message: Load failed because data is from a different version. Download content and update data.There are no updated transfers, all the kits and badges etc are still default.

I have actually got this OF working on a friends xbox so I am not sure what I have done wrong at the moment. When I go into the memory of my xbox and choose PES the files I see are:

Data update (English) 18MB
Data Update (English) 14MB

Edit Data 5MB
System Data 104 KB
Then I have 200 Uniform datas.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

If not, connect and try again and make sure it is a fresh version of v2 that your using.

Mm i had to update because we otherwise would have different versions. It's not the end of the world, it still looks great. Do you have any plans to inklude konamis updates in your OF?

If your happy with it then good stuff..

Its the german teams players that go back to default names and also many of the 100s of players created become messed up with numbers for names or duplicated etc..

I have tried connecting to live when the load screen comes up but still same error message...also, if I eventually get this working Im pretty sure I dont have to be connected to live all the tie to play it right cause my friends version works perfect offline.

Erase the december boota and balls update then dload it again..

make a game save..

then add a fresh v2 and see how that goes..


as for being connected online.. its a long story but the reason to ask was valid..

let me know how it goes

So I should delete December update and re-download. Then just add the v2 into the HD using xport...but should I delete everything off it (Option file wise) or just choose to overwrite what is in their already?. Should I stay online while doing this?

Hello all, I am trying to use Daymo's OF with my WE2010. I have never updated the game since I bought it. Can someone please tell me how to update the game offline so I can use this OF?

I noticed in your Daymo's original post in this thread, the link for Konami Update:

How exactly do I use this file, and is it meant for PES or WE2010?

Hey Daymos...dont know if this is supposed to happen but I installed the Championship OF successfully. But when I load the game up when not connected to xbox live I get the failed system data load screen and also the failed edit data load screen. I then reboot with my connection to live active and it loads up fine. This tells me I need to be connected to live to load the OF up. But when I had it before on my friends console I could play it offline without any problems...is there any reason for the change.

Also, Im assuming that if I connect to live to load up the game, I can then disconnect from live, play as many games of my master league as I want, save my game and all I have to do is load up the game while connected to live next time I want to play it again and all will be ok. (the reason i dont permanantly just stay connected is I dont use xbox live but use my brothers connection in the same house for the updates etc, but my console is in another room, so i gotta use his ethernet cable to load up my game, but he is always on his console, so if all I had to do was use his just to load up the data etc then it would all be fine and he wouldnt moan and i wouldnt have to whoop his ass lol)

Basically its microsofts way of keeping tabs on you..

This usually happens if you take your HD of and dload the content from another console.. and then you have to be online to get it working...

To answer your question you can sign in.. load up the game and then pull the cable out...

Daymos i dont know if someone here have something diferent to say about that, but i really think you shouldnt worrie about new season kits, at least not now, dont think its worth once the new Pes 2011 is coming out in October problably...then everyone will stop to play Pes 2010...see if you can just update the option file after the last Konami update doing the 32 national teams, kits and squad, if you do that im sure everyone here will be very happy, its just a shame players like Benzema, Cambiasso, Beckham, Ballack just got injuried are out...

for the 1st comment v2.5 is priority which basically fixes the mess and sorts out the 32 world cup teams

and v3 is basically a bonus base on how smooth v2.5 goes

I thought you would just allow us to download your MP3's and we pop them into a playlist that also has blocks of recorded silence so that when we hit random play it feels a little more realistic =) Hope that makes sense..
