Why not? I'm halfway through my 4th season (haven't played in days though), and it has been my 3rd favourite PES campaign of all time, behind the awesome PES2013 classic days and last year's Porto with Goretzka. The data pack even "allowed" me to lose all my kits, logo's, etc and I created a very cool kit for Pescara. Better than ever.

Off-toping now. You really have to find a way to convince yourself to use regens. Have one of those inner monologues, or shower debate, I don't know. But regens this year will bring back the good old "getting a kid to world class levels" game.

Yeah. Maybe you're right. Why constantly await Konami instead of using the game where it's actually works. On the pitch.

Yes. When I start any ML I choose a team and stick with it until the end. The other leagues don't bother me, at all. They could as well don't exist, all I need is their players.

Thank you. Think i will do the same. Just give the missing teams some real kits and badges for the realism.

Who will know when the next update comes out. Christmas isn't unrealistic.

Why not?

I don't know if I'm gonna start. Technically, it doesn't make much difference, players constantly move clubs all the time in ML, and the 2 or 3 missing Bolton transfers I can edit myself...... but this whole debacle has left a sour taste. Any enthusiasm I had for the game has been severely diminished.

Never. I don't want a 16yr old Pirlo in my team, it's preposterous.

I think I won't update the edit file in future and stick with the first one created on day one. Maybe this is the best solution. Not changing anything and constantly work on the old option file, so that I won't have to shake my head about future updates.

What do you guys think about it?

If possible I'd go with that solution too, so what are the questions coming up?
Is there a question whethrr to download the pack?
Next what updates you want to apply?
And then whether you want to save over the editdata?

Am I right? Different order of questions?

I didn't tick those boxes either and I still lost almost all created faces.
If you don't want to lose faces you have to base copy the edited faces. the copy will stay. the original will be gone after the update.
this definitely helps with update 1.0 and nothing else.

so for me personally, 200 faces to recreate (i hade only some copied into teams and could copy them back now).

of course nobody can understand that a company selling video games for money can produce such a crap.

my final fear is that all changes upon the deleted faces which i do now will be deleted with the next update again...

this year i left fifa, because the shut down creation centre, hoping pes would be more user friendly. worst idea of the year...

Yes I know, but my 'created players' list is already full of players who didnt appear in PES anymore after Datapack 2.0. Like Xavi, Gerrard, Eto'o, etc..

seems to be the first and also last version of pes that i bought.
i just don't get it, that these people are lacking any intelligence.

Unfortunately, I lost all created faces / hair. A shame. Only created players were left.

I didn't have the choice, the update worked automatically. Do you know how to block it?

At least one good thing happened (after not ticking the boxes): All my created teams weren't touched and new players like Kevin Trapp were added to the players without contract

Just dont install the downloaded update and you should be fine. If it ask when starting PES, choose "Update later".

All editing between Datapack 1 and the 2nd Datapack will be lost. But since you havent downloaded the 1st Datapack it ll be saved when installing the future 2nd Datapack. Says Konami. If we still can believe them.

it depends on how long it takes konami to provide DP 2.0.
If it was within the next days (i don't think so), there would be no big problem about stopping editing until then, but if it takes until christmas or even longer, that's no option. i have repaired half my players today. when i'm back to the pre-update status, i don't want to wait for a long period and also don't want to do much work on new classic players, if konami will destroy that work with the next update, so i would have to block te update. on the other hand i want to be still able to play online after the update.
konami should at least tell quickly when DP 2.0 is provided so we can decide to wait or not to wait.
