Hi Daymos, your OF is great, I love it!, but I have a question, can you tell me what numbers are the logos of the national teams?, obviously, if you can; because my friend have an option file with new national teams kits and logos, and I want to change the logos in your OF, stay calm that I don't want to put your OF in any place, is just for me. 250gb Hard Drive, Installed to the Hard Drive.
So its not that, its Konami. People on PS3 are saying the same thing, any edit file on PES 2011 can/will effect gameplay. As soon as I deleted the OF from the Hard Drive and started a fresh save, it played like a dream, just like I knew it when I first put the disc in the console.
I made sure to copy all the files and save them onto my PC, so if you want the edit file I worked on after Daymos released the v3b fix in here, just say, and ill send it to your email.
Its got some team name fixes and more updated apps + some created players for the nPower Championship so its a better file.
In case you want to corrrect the national teams, you can use this as a base, no problem.
(BTW - When I started a Master League when I downloaded the v3b fix, funnily the fake Bale called "Beck" in the Wales National team somehow duplicated in my ML. Hoffenheim managed to sign him, how? Its impossible to sign national team players in ML....)

I have noticed that PES is taking a lot longer to load since the update
Is there a way to reduce this effect
I have already got the PES disc saved to my hard drive
I know this is possibly to be expected with the many new files saved to my PES memory and obviously if there is not a way of combating this it will be worth it
But any help will be much appreciated

Hey mate, If you send me the file then I can use it to start the next update..
but saying that.. your extra changes could be a few changes too many which has caused your game to slow down.. ? lol
Its possible this could be why Konami only kept it to 2 editable leagues.. perhaps it was due to stability issues like what you have experienced..?

I feel its got something to do with code myself, like I said, I've never noticed option files effecting Pro Evo games in the past, but PES 2011 plays better without it. I feel Konami have done something to the edit file, I dont know what, I dont know how, but it is definitely not right.
Its like a new game when you dont have the OF installed, its weird.
I did have a link to a thread (If I find it again ill post it in here) on another site which was very popular, it was the same issues I've said here, but for the PS3, lots of people experiencing the same glitchy, unresponsive gameplay after the OF's were installed. People were trying to find a fix for this by deleting all files, starting a total reset/refresh and then transfering the files over. Some people did "sort" the issues out, but after a while, the problems start coming back.
I dont think it has anything to do with making changes, its just how the game reads the file. It has to process any edits made every single second the disc is in the console, it has trouble processing it maybe?
Dont know, but thats not for me to tell people not to download this OF, because you should, If you want the kits etc, you cant go wrong with this one, its the best 100%.
(PS - Ill send you the edit file I saved on my PC, I have not touched it for about a week or so now, but I did make quite alot of changes to it, since you uploaded it on here. Ill do it later on today mate, no problem.)

I have installed Pes2011 in my hdd and I'M SURE "THE GAMEPLAY IS NOT AFFECTED" !!! Maybe when your are returning t menu the time is a litle more then you are accustomed. So I have a hint:
Just install the file that you want use (just Daymos v3b not other kits to scottish legue kits);
When you play Master league or league mode configure to NOT SAVE AUTOMATICALLY... save just when you wish stop, because save DELAY about one minute;
I'm sure about it... I have been playing years and years and gameplay never is affected by OFF's.
ps: Daymos is right... in last OF's he always get do OF's with less time to load Menu but when I modified something the load time menu incresead... I think it's just because the save kits...You must not have many people saving because if Daymos save a kit, you save other and other person save other you will have three diferents saves mixing in a option so the time to ead this kits will increase... thsi is my conclusion based in my person experience...
last thing: did you improve Npower??? imput more players in Npower with right number, corrected some positions players for Npower??? could you send me this OF..I want to take a look... and I hope Daymos use this OF if you did this things...see you friend!!!
ps: andreas beck is germany player (from Hoffenhein) not wales...so We need correct!!!
I don't know mate, like I said before I've never experienced this myself on other PES's using OF's. I've never known of these rather extreme loading times either when using the file (Even when Installed to HD, helps a little)
But the loading, I don't have a problem with. But gameplay became very sluggish and after playing a few games like it I thought it would be a good idea to delete it of the HD BUT copy all the files onto my PC beforhand so I still have it. The difference in gameplay for me was amazing, it played smooth and responsive.
....and of course you can have the edit file edu, I can't be bothered to send it right now because im chilling and listning to some music (After the Liverpool game) but in the morning I will e-mail it you and daymos.
I have created some players for nPower teams and corrected a few other things, lots of updated apps, changed some of the (Abbreviations) for teams in Premier League, Bundesliga and nPower. For instance you have CHE instead of CFC (for Chelsea amongst others....), but that was just a minor thing to do really but adds realism.
Marcus Bent and Andy O'Brien were created (For Sheff United and Leeds United) from scratch by myself using Pestatsdatabase. However the appearances are all mine. Some players still need to be created for nPower teams though....I didn't touch the National teams, although they still need correcting in my opinions its nice to have the real players in the national teams in single player.
But for updated apps, IMO it should be a must to be used as a base for any further updates.

Craney I really did not notice the diference in gamaplay. to me the kits are really amazing and the gamaplay is very cool and reallistic...in my personal opinion...But I started to play PES2011 with kits from Daymos v1...and I always play pes with since 2009 and in we (ps2) I played with kits too...

You still didnt answer what it was you were doing at the time.
did you add players, edit faces and then start an existing master league for example when you had this sluggish experience?
Did you try the exact settings and use the same teams with OF and without..
what mode were you playing..?
Weather conditions, team formations etc..
online or offline etc
Unless all these factors were close or identical with OF and without OF then to play only a few games does not constitute a substantial enough comparisson for your conclusion.
Also you keep talking of the PS3.. ?? the PS3 version has its own issues.. and i think the increased loading times in addition to your knowledge on the PS3 version may bias your opinions here slightly

Weather in games has been normal, sunny and rainy.
Gameplay irregularites started before and after I made any changes to the edit file (I cant see how this would be a problem, considering the amount already done to the file)

Thats what I'm on about, yes I understand its PS3, but these issues with gameplay, are also simular to what Im getting when using OF's with PES 2011 on the Xbox 360.

regarding the comemnt above.. Its known that if you've started a league/ cup then you add an option file with lets say loads of new players and teams...
You will have to erase the league/ cup and start a fresh one.
This is because the game has to find a way to add the changes but not add them into the league/cup set up.. Some peopl edid this last year and the game would totally crash..
This year it appears everyone is starting fresh which is a good thing.
I wasnt sure if you fell into this catergory..
It would be interesting to see if you were to use 2 official team would there be any issues as opposed to created teams..
Anyway it will be one of those issues we wont the the answer to..

Are you sure its the wrong edit file edu, I have all the files I deleted of my hard drive saved in a single folder on my desktop...that was the edit file out of that folder.
It should be the one I've made changes to.

Maybe You din not install the kits in HDD...try install the OF in HDD and try again...it's the thing more probably...
