After 3 days of running your designs through the dirt to see if they maintain their finesse and quality, and also through T1s super dupa microscope, I have decided on the top 3. (Sorry bout the delay, my pc went down big style) Tonight I will post up the results as right now I am a little short of time. Check back later to find out who won!!
I'm sure you are all anxious to know, but you can sweat it out just a little longer for my grand announcement and breakdowns of the winning entries.

The Results!!
Ok, after much anticipation, here are the results, in reverse order
3rd place: Ristol
Excellent design, clean crisp artwork. use of the entire box art, front and back. Looks like an authentic pc cd rom case. Ristol broke from the trend of using Henry as the figurehead and went for a different approach. Good use of images there, 2 players getting stuck in, this is what Pro Evo is all about and so it sells the game well. Great photoshop effects, which actually work with the whole theme, and not just used for the hell of it, the blurring around the central image looks class!
The implementation of the back cover was well done. With the game details and stats presented well, including some in-game screens.
A couple of criticisms though, and they are in a way quite major, which is why this effort gets a third place and not first. The use of colours and fonts do not quite appear to work well with pro, so overall, the cover although really neat and tidy, appears somewhat dull. One could argue it is artistic, and captures a certain mood, but not for football, and does not quite catch the eye if it were on a shelf.

Good effort, neat, tidy and crisp. Good use of images and effects however just missing that certain x-factor which prevents this from being a winning design.
2nd place: luke909
Again, a really neat design, with a great use of photoshop effects which work. Great use of colours. Uncluttered design keeping it simple but effective. Good shot of Henry too which fits, and the shadow effect of the same image behind him, good stuff! This to me is a pro evolution case and I could see that on display. What is also impressive is the positioning of the images and the overall layout is almost flawless. Can't find anything to criticise here, which makes this a great effort, but just lacks maybe the addition of an adidas logo, or the league logos, which I feel are essential this time round in order to add authenticity in terms of presenting the 3 lincences acquired by konami.
In terms of sellability, very good and unlike the last effort from Ristol, this one really does stand out.

Neat polished and attractive case design. Good use of imagery, effects and colours working well together. layout and positioning is also great, straight out of the graphics design manual, well done!

Absolutely flawless! This is Pro Evo 4 how it should be!! Again, We see Henry fronting the cover, which ok, one can argue is not original, however it has been pulled off really well. Great pose for the strike there, and that is what we know Henry for, his shooting and goalscoring, and that is why this image is the best out of the lot. it is the finesse of the pose, the portrayal of great technique, which sums up pro evo nicely! After checking out all the other entries that used Henry, I kept coming back to this, and it simply stood out from the crowd. The featured Roteiro Adidas ball is also in, and set in a great layout, which doesnt look out of place. League logos are also in and presented neatly. Colours work well, with the background greyed out, leaving the emphasis on the foreground, very good!
Could I see this on the shop floor!!? absolutely, nothing more to be said there.

Great design!, everything that could be included is, ok so he used Henry, but still the best of the lot. Neat, with good use of colours effects are minimal so its not OTT either. Looking every bit a pro evo box. Brilliant!! a worthy winner!

Ok, theres no excuse for that much jagginess, but oh well...he tried. would not sell, never!! but i'm sure he knew that! hehe
The rest of that missed out, dont be downhearted, as i chopped and changed quite alot, cos the competition was close, very close!! good designs from YoungGE, Gooner, chewynotcrunchy, ryan1506, hereticboy, tiktik and hitman, good stuff!! you all deserved a mention....not forgetting badgerman for his, umm..yeah whatever that was, and the innovative but lazy entry from Gunplay LOL
And so it ends....not long till pro evo 4 hits the streets and let the online gaming era begin...looking forward to thrashing you all!! cheers, adios!

Congrats to yes i miss u and luke, I definately lost to two worthy designs!
as I take it, my decision of going my own way cost me in authenticity, and was my undoing. So a couple of extra touches and who knows, right?
Anyways, a great competition, alot of quality designs, happy to be 3rd!
