The last game was funny yet annoying. early on I cut the ball back to Pato who was 1.5 yards out and had 90% of the goal to aim at only for Buffon to pull off the save of the decade and leaving me shouting "how the fuck did he miss!". Then i put a chip through ball into Robinho from an angle and he headed it first time 8 yards out past Buffon and into the bar. I couldnt stop smiling in disbelief. I gave kaka the ball out wide and he put an amazing ball in seeing as he was like 30 yards out from the edge of the box and it bent into robinho. Slow motion it looked like he was gonna hit it. He did and BANG. Straight off the underside of the bar with that being the last kick of the game. Unbelievable, i couldnt believe the chances in that game.

looks like all the excitement and screaming is going to be back with PES 2010..just badly hope the BAL mode has many improvements though..

The matches seem to be alot quicker and funner when not played at Anfield. The teams seem to play alot better aswell. Ive stopped using wide cam and am using Normal long now and its really improved the graphics.

They've brought back that annimation where as a defender say im facing my own goal, the ball has just gone over the top, i can just press hoof and he'll kick it over his head. Loving it.

Am I the only one?
When playing on assisted, the passes are not that good, but when playing on SEMI assisted, the through balls are definately better. Anyone else experienced that?
Also, I believe that through balls still needs fixing, and also the response needs to be better. Not by much though.:)

OK I have been playing the WE2010 demo since release and I have noticed there is more than a slight difference but it is a lot different actually.

It is much better than the PES2010 demo because the PES version seemed a bit tacky and the passing was a little 'loose' if you know what I mean. The goalkeepers are poor in the PES2010 demo.

BUT the WE2010 demo is much better. The gameplay is fresh and it is very solid to play and to look at. The passing is great now, its actually feels like you're passing a ball instead of a ballon. The goalkeepers have improved too.

There are so many stories I can tell you guys about the WE2010 demo.
How Gerrard scored that last minute rocket, and how reina saved the early penalty that Messi took and how Johnson managed to scored a volley from a corner (My best goal so far).

Ahhhhh I am in love with this game. I'm so in love that I have now lost count of how many times I have written 'I'm in love with PES2010' in these forums.

It truly is a wonderful game.

The through balls can be good and bad. When there's space to play it in they really do look good and work but if your trying to slip a ball through the defence they snuff it out every time. Like they play it very weak and play it so close to the defender. Some of the time its because the player you have isnt very good at it. Pirlo is a legend on this demo. Whenever i get it with him i can play a blind chip through ball and it will still find my player. Anyone else and it would be an epic fail.

use analog passes for thru balls a lot more effecive .. will take time for u to get used to.. but when u are the fun will be doubled..

^You mean the right stick passes? I noticed that they are much better than last year but I find it hard to pass with them.

This happens with every pes. Some stadiums are really slow and some are blazing fast. I dunno if it's lag due to having more/less detail or if Konami is trying to simulate typical pitch conditions for those stadiums lol.

As In real life.. Especially the last stadium (in we demo - 2002).. has a bigger pitch in dimensions when it is compared with Anfield.. You can find big spaces and very suitable for counter attacks..
As in real life, the difference between Camp-Nou and Stamford bridge as in pitch dimension manners, differs the gameplay a lot..
Thats why I like PES always more... the 2 matches is never identical..

- Refree changes per match
- Stadium differs the gameplay
- Player Forms differ the gameplay

a question for those that have played the winning eleven 2010 demo... Is dribbling and movement still robotic and rigid?

And does the gameplay still have that on the rails feeling?

And hows the collision system?


Sorry one more.... When will the demo for WE 2010 be available for download for xbox live silver members?

The true answers to the above questions (except the demo question) will determine what football game i get this year (pes or fifa)

IMO the WE Demo is feckin fantastic. I cant wait for the full release which will be even better!

I dont see the on the rails feeling and to me the collisions from what I have seen look good. Ok some could be better but not all the animations have been added into the demo.

No robotics for me. The game is brilliant and plays like a game of football unlike fifa.

I have tinkered with the sliders and tactics at times and they definitely make great differences.

This game is so much more indepth than fifa and is a lot more fun to play.

When you are on the ball the players all feel different too. Konami thank you coz I really didnt want to buy fifa this year

Too true and as if playing them demo constantly wasnt bad enough all i do on it is play Barzil v Italy lol. I just dont like Liverpool and Barca for some reason on the game.

Yea Brazil are really nice to use, really attacking and skillfull, realistic i suppose :)

I know what you mean about Liverpool and Barca. When i play with them against eachother its always a dry 0-0 :( Maybe its coz they are similar in ability in the game. Or maybe Konami have made Liverpool the best team in the game coz one of their players is the cover star... :angry:

Dry is a good way of putting it. I think i dont like them mainly due to the fact they're really unrealistic. Like alot of players for each are nothing like their real life counterpart.

Barca:

Inesta - Good at nothing really and isnt very agile
Henry - Runs/moves absolutely nothing like him and his model isnt up to scratch imo
Yaya - He is way to stiff and cant move and he should be quality at passing but isnt

Liverpool:

Carragher - Too stiff and runs really poorly
Aurelio - Possibly the worst representation of a player ever.
Glen Johnson - Isnt fast enough and isnt stocky enough
Mascherano - Is nowhere near fast enough and isnt agile
Kuyt - One of Liverpool lynchpins but in the game is uttlery useless at practically everything
Babel - Aguably one of the quickest players in Britain yet has only 86,86 for his speed not to mention his shot power is unbelievable but weak in game
Benayoun - Isnt very good at dribbling even though he's almost as good as messi weaving in and out of people.
